ABOUT THE INSTITUTION ULTRA Trust, pioneers in education, with an abiding interest in providing professional education to the society was started in the year 1981. In the academic year 2009 10, as another diamond to the crown of the trust, ULTRA College of Engineering and Technology for Women, exclusively for women was established at Madurai. It was founded by Prof. KR. Arumugam, the founder chairman of ULTRA Trust Madurai. It is the first womens engineering college in the temple city Madurai for Empowering women to contribute the best for the growth of global economy. The college is situated in a quiet environment about 6 Kms from the Madurai Mattuthavani busstand on Madurai Chennai Highway. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT Computer Science and Engineering is aimed to advance, evolve and enhance the intellectual capability of the students. They learn to reach across the traditional academic boundaries to seek the knowledge and resources needed to solve technological problems. The educational experience helps them to choose challenging paths and reach their goals. The department has a wellqualified and experienced faculty, specialists in the area of Databases, Wireless Networks, Web Designing, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems and Programming Languages etc. The network communication includes a Fiber optic backbone, offering 2Mbps Internet connectivity and provides Intranet within the HITECH laboratories. ABOUT THE PROGRAM The program will recognize and support student contributions to our society and host a number of events that highlight research and conversation of technical development by students. This is our preliminary march to the space of technological pasture which be evidence for computer Science and Information Technology student joint effort.
