Placing hand on forehead after the fard prayer

Praise be to the lord of all that exists. We always see people placing their hands on forehead or on top of head and recite something which is a very wide spread practice, if u ask people why they do it either they dont have answer or say it is sunnah. Is this recitation part of sunnah or is it a bidah? Let analyze it in light of Quran and Sunnah. Allah say in Surah Maidah, ayah 3: This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. Simply meaning: All the way and methods of prayer, dua, ways and manners of performing prayer, dua, adhan or in shot everything related to worship has been communicated. So nothing new will be invented or come According to all major scholar and muhadiths of Islam no evidence is available in the sunnah which proves that nabe placed his hand on forehead after fard prayers rather, what is proven from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is that when he had finished praying, he would ask Allah for forgiveness three times (Astagfiruallah), then he would say: Allaahumma anta as-salaam wa minka al-salaam, tabaarakta yaa dhaal-jalaali wal-ikraam (O Allah, You are as-Salaam (the One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies) and from You is all peace, blessed are You, Possessor of majesty and honour). Here people may argue what is wrong if we dothe wrong part is DID NABE USED TO DO THE SAME AFTER EVERY FARD PRAYERS? If nabe never did and we do it then it is a Bidaheven if it maybe a form of Ibadah. Here second point is IT IS ALWAYS DONE AFTER FARD PRAYER and WHY DONT PEOPLE DO IT AFTER ANY SUNNAH or NAWAFIL PRAYER OR DURING ANYTIME OF DAY..COZ THEY HAVE MADE IT A PRACTISE AFTER FARD PRAYER.. which make it a Bidah..OVER THE TIME THIS PRACTISE WILL BECOME PART OF ISLAM, WHICH IS AS OF NOW ALSO DONE AS SUNNAH In some sahih hades it is mention that 4 kuls have been recited for protection against evil eye, Surah Fatiha is recited to remove the effects of scorpion bite and so.. on

We should be every clear about what is Bidah, doing any form of Ibadah in way or form not approved by nabe or not performed during the period of nabe. If we muslims only do what is told by nabe nothing more or less then we can Inshaallah go to Jannat, but if we do new things in new ways then we dont what will happen. We have to live our life as shown by Allah and Nabe.. no addition or deletion in thatIslam is very simple.. so we should keep it simple and not complicate things for usand others to follow. We never work extra in our jobs..then why do we work or do extra things in ISLAMjust follow what Allah and nabe said.. and leave the rest

And Allah Knows the best.
