Shinjanv, You have opened SR 42965810 indicating the GateKeeper daemon has an error. Unfortunately, the notes of this case do not contain any data that allows EMC to help you in any meaningful way. Please: 1. Provide the Serial Number of the Storage Array you are working to configure. Are you able to "Discover" this array? 2. Each Storage Array has Gatekeepers setup and available on Port 0 of each FA. You need to ensure your SE Host is zoned to access port 0 of the appropriate FA on the Storage Array. 3. With the storage array discovered and confirmed connectivity to the array, you then mask the appropriate number of Gatekeepers on the host. This is not done by EMC, but by the SAN Storage team. If you have a symmapi log that show the commands you are using and the error code, please upload and attach this to SR# 42965810. Also, please run a Host EMCGrab log and attach this to the SR. Please let me know when this is accomplished and I will requeue the case to analyze what is going on. If you are not familiar with configuring new storage array gatekeepers, please reach out to your team members as this is a common practice and you should be able to work with an experienced individual.
