DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the bus fleet maintenance and repairing and work stations and ensures that the safety precautions are followed. Manages and ensures the daily assigning of work and completion of tasks. Directly supervise the performance and development of bus staffs, the driver, conductor and assistant and the mechanics. Administration and supervision of bus hire and rentals. Ensure that all drivers pass medical examinations and driving tests before recruitment and submit the results to the human resource manager for assessment. Ensure that all company bus fleet are in compliance with the state vehicle safety requirements. The bus fleet is adequately prepared for state inspections and that all vehicles are well maintained. Remains available 24 hours on call incase of any emergency situations after regular working hours. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all vehicles including services. Record fuel cost and mileage of all buses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Control over planning in maintenance, repair and replacement of company buses Ensure the availability of parts while coordinating with parts procurement and review recommendations on scope of the work and specifications for major procurement related to fleet management Create and fill performance record forms of bus staffs on monthly basis and analyze the cost on repairs and maintenance of their specific bus. This will help the human resource managers to identify the work and productivity of bus staffs. Ensure that all company bus fleet are in compliance with the state vehicle safety requirements. The bus fleet is adequately prepared for state inspections and that all vehicles are well maintained. Create and monitor white board scheduling system of all bus fleet for mechanical problems on daily basis to ensure that all buses are repaired on time and in perfect conditions. Assist in the preparation, recording and keeping of all financial information of the company with regard to depreciation. Assist in the accounts and keeping daily returns and financial statements and compiling it every month. Submit all the financial statements of the company in the form of profit and loss accounts to the financial director every month. Provides management oversight at facility locations, work stations or engineering facilities, dealing with repair and maintenance with responsibility for ensuring technical effectiveness and efficiency. Conducts needs analysis with the help of the mechanic and drivers to identify vehicle mechanical problems in order to ensure the bus fleet has the most up to date equipment and personnel skills. Plan and develop vehicle equipment and maintenance policies and operational programmes and implement companys goals and objectives while directing compliance in the establishment of programmes, policies and procedures to attract, develop and retain a competent and motivated workforce putting into consideration the development of short and long range planning activities covering all aspects of fleet maintenance operations.
