To add another Satellite. Press Menu Select Installation Select Antenna setting, ok. Scroll through the satellite listings until you come to the first satellite you want to add. If you're trying to tune in a satellite with the CW800 and you know that you're close if not right on, but there's no signal showing on the Quality signal bars at the bottom of the screen, try changing the transponder. For example, tuning in Echostar 119w: The default TP frequency for 119 while in Antenna Setting is 12224/V/20000/5/6 This is alright for tuning or dish alignment if you are using a Legacy LNB. However, if you are using a DP LNB whether it be a Twin/Quad or Dual, you will never see any Signal Quality on that TP because DP LNBs Do Not use the Horizontal TPs but rather use a scheme called Bandstacking which converts the Horizontal Frequencies to Vertical ones (25600 - H TP frequency = New Vertical Frequency). In order to see any Signal Quality while attempting to align 119 using a DP LNB you must change the transponder. Scroll down to the Transponder setting, and scroll right/left to change the transponder to 12370/V/20000/5/6. This is the first Vertical CONUS TP which will give you Signal Quality no matter where you are located or what type of LNB you are using. When you have aimed the dish correctly, a banner will appear above the signal level and quality bars showing the name of the satellite you're aimed at. If you're hooked directly to the LNB ( ie no switch), power off at the back of the CW800, hook the new satellite up to your switch and then turn the power on at the back of the CW800. Press Menu Select Installation Select Antenna setting, ok. Enter the settings (LNB type, Disqc Number, etc) for your new satellite. When finished, press the Red button on the remote marked Audio to scan that satellite. If adding more satellites, just scroll though the satellite listings and repeat the above steps. When finished, press Exit until you're back to TV. Note: If you do add more satellites, don't forget to save your User Channel List as outlined above once you have a final scan. Other stuff Backgrounds If you're like me and you listen to Sirius radio off of DN 119, you can change the background screen. To do this: Press Menu. Select System Settings Select OSD Goto Background scroll left/right and you will see various backgrounds appear behind the menu. When you find the one you like, press Exit until you're back to watching TV. This background will http://www.x-fta.com El mejor sitio del testeo satelital

appear when you're listening to the radio channels and when you're in the menu. Program info in while in Guide If you're in the guide/EPG and there's a show you want to see the information on, but there's not enough room in the info panel in the upper right corner to display it all, press Info again and the whole thing will be displayed. To go back to the guide, just press Info again. Notes: I know that the USB on the CW800 is hot-swappable, (meaning you don't have to power down to plug / unplug it ), but this time of year the air is very dry in my house which causes lots of static zaps. That's why I power down each time just to be extra cautious.
