Torchwood Server User Guidelines

This document outlines the general user content-creation policy that will be implemented on the Torchwood Server effective September 17th 2011. Please be aware that these policies are not meant to inhibit the creation of content nor the users ability to freely explore the world. If you require any explanation of the policies outlined in this document, feel free to ask a moderator or server administrator to clarify them for you. This document may be updated without any warning, please make sure you keep visiting the server website to stay up to date on these guidelines.

Torchwood Server: User Guidelines

A: Administrator and Moderator Authority ! Administrators may transgress any of the policies dened in this document when they see t. ! Moderators may transgress any of the policies dened in this document under director order of an administrator, or wherein their action of violating the policy is to rectify a user-to-user dispute or to rectify the affect a griefer* may have had on content created by another user. Administrators and Moderators may ban any player that has been grieng. The length of the ban will vary depending on the extent of said users grieng.
*griefer: a player in a multiplayer video game that deliberately irritates and harasses other players.

! ! ! B: Fair Play ! Users may not destroy any blocks that another user has placed without that users explicit permission. ! ! Users may explore any structure on the server unless the creator of the structure has posted visible signs that the structure or room within the structure is off limits. Such a sign must be inscribed with the term Private Area, Private Structure, or Private Room. ! ! !

Torchwood Server User Guidelines

C: Content Creation ! Users may not create any structure within 50 blocks of the default spawn point horizontally or within any area above or below the default spawn point. ! ! Each user may have up to 5 (ve) territories. Territories may not exceed a 50x50x50 block area. Territories must have a clearly marked perimeter (using a fence or other discernible block). ! ! Users may only build structures within their territories, or within a predetermined part of an established city or town. ! ! When building within the capital city, users may not build structures that are within 10 blocks or exceed the height of the capitol building. ! ! When building within a city, users must follow the building style guidelines when building their structures. ! ! ! D: Abandonment ! If a user has not logged on to the server for more than two months, they will risk lose of control over any content that they have created on the server. !
