BAPTISM AND CATHOLIC EDUCATION: The following has been prepared for parents and a copy will be given to all those requesting a Baptism at St. Josephs: By presenting your child for Baptism you have taken the first step as educators of your child in the Catholic Faith. In doing so, you, along with godparents have made a commitment to bring your child up in the Faith. The Catholic Church supports you in this by providing childrens liturgies and further sacramental preparation when appropriate. Also, they provide excellent Catholic Schools in Lytham St. Annes. Through Religious Education and Collective Worship your child will be given an understanding of the Faith. It is by practicing the faith and attendance at Mass which will deepen this understanding. Each school has its own Admission Policy which is reviewed annually. Parents should contact the individual schools regarding admissions. As a parish we wish you well in the Faith journey of your child and look forward to welcoming you to Mass each week. PARENTS: Please make an appointment to see Fr. John if you need a school application form signed (Tel 737037). Thanks. CHURCH: Thankfully, we are now able to keep the church open again for visits during the day.
