ABOUT THE BOOK
This book has been designed to cater the needs of the first-year engineering students of all branches. The text of the book covers the complete syllabus of the subject -Engineering Graphics of various technical Universities all over the country. Any Engineers, irrespective of their branches required certain knowledge of design and graphics in order to understand the basic of Product Manufacturing Process. This book provides a comprehensive and practical over view of engineering graphics through simple and well-explained worked-out examples and exercises. This book is divided into 14 chapters and contains relevant information on the subject. Mostly First Angle of Projection has been followed in this book. Third Angle of Projection has also used in some solved problems purposely to explain the concept to the students.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Roop Lal is presently working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) New Delhi. He obtain his Masters degrees from Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College (now Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, U.P. He has 17 years of experience in Aviation sector and over 13 years of teaching experience at the level of degree and diploma courses in engineering. He has taught various subjects like Machine Design, Strength of Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Theory of Machines, Engineering Graphics and Machine Drawing in addition he has reviewed many engineering books. He has attended many seminars held at prestigious institutes of India such as IIT's and NIT's. He has also published research papers at national journals. His research involved Design & Energy-related topics. He is the lifetime member of Intuition of Engineers (India). Rama Kant Rana is presently working as Lecturer at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) New Delhi. He has taught Engineering Drawing (Engineering Graphics) and Manufacturing Process at Undergraduate course. He also taught CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) and AUTO CAD, SOLID WORKS (CAD software) at IEC College of Engineering, Greater Noida. He is a member of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
