Introduction to Page Brigade Program Here at Greenbrier Middle School in the Columbia County School System in Evans, GA, a program called the Page Brigade is implemented. In this program, students of this middle school contribute their time and effort in order to promote a love of reading for first graders.

So many of them now want to go to media center in order to check out more books. They often tell me that they want to read the books the big kids read.

Final thoughts/summary Newscaster: Although this program may not instill in EVERY student a desire to read, it does in fact help. As youve seen, this program has had a positive affect on the students and staff here at both Greenbrier Middle and Elementary schools.
