ragnarok(free server) membership registration terms and conditions

1. introduction
ragnarok is a multi-player online game. the objective of this document is to state
issues regarding the purchase, usage, creation of account, registration and usage
of the gameflier corporation service which users must pay attention to and follow.
players must not violate this agreement under intentional or unintentional
circumstances, or use it as argument when violating the terms.

2. account registration
the player account you registered for in the ragnarok official web sites, which is
your game account, is use when sign up for the game. to ensure your rights, please
read the contents of ragnarok(free server) membership registration terms and
conditions carefully before registering as a member of ragnarok and using the
company's service. choosing i agrees online, indicates that you agree to register
as our company's game member and acquire ragnarok's member services, also
accepting the terms and conditions defined in ragnarok(free server) membership

3. follow the law and members regulations

5. notice for registration of member account

6. cease or halt the game server's service:

when either of the situations below occurs, our company has the right to cease or
halt the game server's service. our company will not be responsible to users or
others for any interruption, inconvenience or damage caused by this.
1) the service will be cease for regular inspections or maintenance, software or
hardware upgrade. our company will finish the maintenance job as soon as possible.
2) when the game server is unable to operate properly due to any form of damage.
3) when the network connection or other factor causes the players to have problem
connecting to the company's game server.
4) natural disaster or other unavoidable factors.
5) to ensure the nation's safety or personal safety of users and others under
emergency cases.
6) sudden malfunction of software/hardware or email equipments.

7. service and supervision scope of game master.

1) game master is responsible for supervising and reporting unusual events as well
as maintaining a smooth gaming environment. the game master is also authorized to
check the users' online record for abnormal activities and taking appropriate
actions towards accounts or ids that violate the rules.
2) to protect the user's interest, should the game master require the co-operation
of the user for the purpose of ensuring no illegitimate activities are being
carried out, the user is obliged to fulfill the game master's request in order to
protect his/her own interest.
3) the game master will never inquire the user about password through the phone
online or electronic mail. the user is responsible of keeping his/her own password
to oneself and never disclose it to other people.
4) the game master will only answer to the following inquiries through the phone
or online:
a. game instructions that are not explicitly explained in the user manual or the
official website.
b. receiving comments and critics as well as bugs found in the game.
c. individual problems concerning the inability to execute the game.
d. reports or discoveries of external program users.
e. irritate or perturbing other users.

matters.
g. regular or non-regular online activities.
5) the game master is not responsible in resolving disputes, missions, puzzle-
solving, giving away in-game items or money, assisting the user's training,
answering non-game related questions, providing account information of other
users, explains the company's operations, discussing politics or any relevant
topics.
6) we reserve the right to take legal action against any act of verbal-abuse,
defamation and personal-attacks towards the staff either through the phone or
online.

8. cease or changes of services:

for users who violate the terms and conditions, harm the company's reputation or
causes evident problem to the company, the company will terminate their account
base on situation. in addition, our company remains the right of ceasing or
changing any services or terminating any user accounts, also won't be responsible
for any compensation and do not need to notify users before hand. our company will
not be responsible to members or others for any problems, inconvenience, or harm
caused by the change of service or termination of member's service account.

9. scope of responsibility:
1) problems like service interruption, inoperable, delayed, erroneous of transfer
or storage of information may occur in the company's service due to own, relevant
vendor, network system's software/hardware problem; or caused by human's
carelessness, being hack or faked information by others etc. under the situations
mentioned above, our company does not guarantee that the service will be totally
stable, safe, perfect and continuous. members must understand the risk and
possible harms of using our services; any request for compensation will not be
entertained.
2) our company does not guarantee that ragnarok is free of program error or game
bug, and will not be responsible for any damage caused by it.

10. responsibility of secure:

members have the responsibility to keep their account and password safely, in
consequence, is responsible for all actions, speech and activities done after
logging on with the user account. for your own good, do not reveal or lend your
account or password to others. if your user account are being illegally used by
others or notice something peculiar, inform our company immediately according to
the steps stated in customer service management procedures. however, if your
account is illegally used due to own carelessness, or get damage from own improper
acts and usage in the game, the responsibility falls to the user. the company will
not be responsible for it.

11. protection of privacy:

regarding user's registration information, the company shall not expose the
member's name, address, email address, and other information under the protection
of law before getting approval from users; excluding situations below:
1) under law's obligations
2) under the legal request from law institutes or authorized institutes
3) to protect the company's rights
4) when the company suspects there are harmful activities to the country or
illegal activities, the company shall hand the information to security institute
for investigation.

12. rights to services changes:

our company has the right to modify, add, or delete these terms and condition
anytime. please stop using the company's services if you do not agree with the new
policy, else you are considered to agree and accept on the contents of the
modified, added or deleted terms and condition, and shall not receive any
compensation for this reason.

13. intellectual property:

the copyright, label, trade secret, other intellectual properties, ownership and
other rights of all works, contents and information on the ragnarok web site are
owned by gameflier or the rightful owner. copying, transferring, modifying are
strictly prohibited unless you have the legal authority from gameflier or the
rightful owner. whoever violates this shall be charge under the law.

14. service termination:

our company has the right to cease and terminate or delete your account and all
relevant information in your account, files and records after sending out a
notification or before notification due to own considerations. if there's a system
malfunction, bug, program error and other problems, the company has the right to
recover the game information to certain date, in order to maintain the balance of
the game. our company shall not inform for any cancellation, termination,
restriction of membership, members shall not receive any compensation for this.

15. acceptance of services

our company's services are limited to normal ragnarok charge servers and
ragnarok(free server). the gameflier corporation remains the right to shut down
the server to maintain the system's stability and correct relevant information.

16. service introduction

when registering for game account, please specify your correct personal details in
the sign up as game member page in the ragnarok official web site. you are
required to provide relevant identification document when there is problem with
the account. thus you are advised to fill in your detail personal information to
ensure your right to the account, and prove your ownership for the checking
purpose by officer. please call our customer support centre 03-8600 9900 for
further inquiries regarding the game; your questions shall be handling by our
officer.

17. reminders to game members:

after becoming a member of "ragnarok(free server)", you must fully understand the
"users terms and condition", "punishment for violation of game rules",
"copyright", customer service management procedures and other game policies and
problem handling procedures in the "ragnarok official web site" and agree to abide
by the terms and conditions and problem handling procedures. if you agree with
this policy or all the terms and procedures in "ragnarok(free server)", please
select 'agree'. if you do not agree with either contents of this policy, please
choose 'exit' to leave the game member registration.

18. game instructions:

to enhance the contents of the game, the game will be updated and functionalities
shall be added or altered from time to time. upon update, all functions, contents
and settings will be based on the notice in the game.

19. effectively of policy and law enforcement

this policy is effective starting 16 april 2007. this policy is applicable to all
actions, speech, activities, and services of ragnarok's online game members within
ragnarok. any part of this policy which is ineffective does not affect other part
of the policy. if problem shall arise, the local law where the service is provided
will be the foundation.
