THE AMERICAN CLERGY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
(ACLC) is a broad-based coalition of 14,000 Chris-
tian, Muslim, and Jewish clergy dedicated to three
fundamental principles: rebuild the family, restore
the community, and renew the nation and the world.
Working to protect marriage and end divorce, the
ACLC completed the Interreligious and Interna-
tional Marriage Blessing of 144,000 clergy couples in
2002, expanding to millions throughout the world. A
recent Pilgrimage to the Holy Land brought together
500 Jewish, Christian and Muslim leaders in recon-
ciliation, pledging to work together as one family to
end bloodshed and to light the path to peace.

FAMILY FEDERATION FOR WORLD PEACE AND UNIFICATION
is a network of families, from every race, religion, and culture, united in
the belief that, centered on God’s love, successful, happy families can
solve the problems of every society. Through service and education, local
chapters support member families and their surrounding communities. At
the grassroots level, FFWPU chapters initiated a worldwide marriage and
rededication movement of literally hundreds of millions of couples.

Dear Friends
he Harlem Cultural and Scholarship Committee and the New York
Family Federation for World Peace are co-sponsoring the 5th Interna-
tional Harlem Cultural Arts Festival which will be held on Saturday,

May 17, 2008 in the Harriet Tubman Learning Center PS 154 at 250 West 127th
Street -Harlem, NY 10027 from 4:00 PM -7:00 PM. The title this year is, “The
5th Interfaith Music & Righteous Rap Amateur Youth Competition”, the theme
is, “Creating A Positive Youth Culture”. There was a successful Audition for
competitors on Saturday, April 19th to determine who will be in the contest this
year.
The 5th Interfaith Music Competition will focus on amateur youth from different
faiths and nationalities with performances ranging from Classical music to mod-
ern Hip Hop poetry and rap. This year we included “Righteous Rap” which is
positive lyrics expressing uplifting and inspiring messages from youth under 23
years old. We are making a great effort to support teens to challenge the culture
and recreate a positive atmosphere in the realm of media. There will be trophies
and money prizes awarded to the first three place winners in two categories
(music and righteous rap including poetry and the spoken word). The money
prizes are First Place - $500, Second Place - $300, Third Place - $200. We are
also offering door prizes to the audience.
