e n the previous book, the fourth book of
Agrippa, we have discussed
- 63SI enough about magical ceremonies and
initiations, but since it seems to have been
written for the learned and experienced in this
art, and since it does not deal with the details of
the Ceremonies but rather in general terms, it
seems advisable to add the Magical Elements of
Pedro de Abano, so that those who are ignorant
of them and have not tried the magical
superstitions may have at hand the knowledge
of how to apply them themselves.It seems

magical operations will be given shortly in this
book. But as the Circles are attributed a great
power (since they are the form of defense that
puts the operator safe from evil spirits), we will
deal first of all with their composition.

 Of the Circle and its composition

he magic water is the dew water

Methodof work
