Two Big Questions

Comparative Study The first of the two big questions in life is, Who made us? God as the answer .As we are creation, God is the Creator. Now, let us turn to the second big question, which is, Why are we here? i.e. What can be the purpose of life Well, why are we here? To a mass fame and fortune? To make music and babies? To be the richest man or woman in the graveyard for, as we are jokingly told, He who dies with the most toys wins? No, there must be more to life than that, so lets think about this. If the purpose of life is to become wealthy, there would be no purpose after becoming wealthy. How could wealth then be considered as the aim of life? Could the acquisition of wealth guarantee happiness? of course not. When we hear of millionaires or members of their families committing suicide, how could we consider the purpose of life would be to gain great wealth? For a disbeliever of God, the purpose of this life is to collect and a mass great wealth, money, power and position. Over indulging in eating, drinking, drugs, sex and gambling are a high priority to them. But all of this will not avail them anything good in the grave, on the Day of Judgment or in the Next Life. Eventually he will be faced with the question: Now what? What's Next? Where am I going? What will happen to me? God has said in Quran: "Does man think that he will be left neglected (without purpose)?" (Quran 75:36) Then did you think that We created you uselessly (without a purpose) and that to Us you would not be returned? (Quran 23:115) A good way to make Gods favors dearer to us is look at those who are lacking them. When we witness the difficulties suffered by those who are blind and the deaf, we come to know how blessed we are by having full use of our senses. We thank Him for creating us as humans, the best of creation, with intelligence and five portals to decide right and wrong. It is He who brought you forth from the wombs of your mother when you knew nothing, and He gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections, that you may give thanks to God.(Quran 16:78) Have we not given him (mankind) two eyes, a tongue and a pair of lips, and shown Him the two highways of good and evil. (Quran 90:8-10). It is He who sends down rain from

the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle. With it He produces for you corn, olives, date-palms, grapes and every kind of fruit: verily in this is a sign for those who give thought. (Quran 16:10-11). Have you considered the water which you drink? Do you send it down from the clouds, or are WE the Sender? If WE so pleased, WE could make it bitter. Why, then, do you not give thanks? (Quran 56:68-70) All of these favors encourage us to thank God and use the blessings that He has given us in obedience to Him and not in disobedience. The scientist believed 4.6 billion years ago Earth was created. Trillions of people died before usWe are also going to die one dayNo doubt in it. DEATH IS NOT THE END Death, which is certain to happen to all of us, is a very important fact in one's life. We can never know exactly what we will experience in an hour or even in the next moment. This being the case, it is obvious how wrong it would be to plan our lives based on events that may never happen. Death, on the other hand, is the only thing that is certain to happen. Only the recognition of this basic truth makes us understand that we must found our lives according to it. Death is also a part of the trial of man. As a Quran verse states Every soul shall have a taste of death. And you shall be paid in full your rewards only on the Day of Resurrection. So whosoever is removed away from the Fire and is made to enter Heaven has indeed attained his goal. And the life of this world is nothing but an illusory enjoyment (Quran 3:185) Death is the end of merely the life of this world-thus the end of the trial-and the beginning of the next life. For this reason, believers have no fear of death. The thought of death does not distress them, because, every moment of their lives is spent in the pursuit of good deeds as preparation for the hereafter. Man is placed on earth only for a very short time. There, he will be tested, trained and then passed over to the Hereafter where he will stay forever. Quran describes God's ultimate justice on Judgment Day, when everyone will be shown their past deeds "Then, whoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall (also) see it there." (Quran 99:6-8) Based on his deeds, each one will have a different status (in paradise, and in hell), so that He may fully compensate them for their deeds. No one will be wronged (Quran 46:19) Know that the life of the world is merely a game and a diversion and ostentation and a cause of boasting among yourselves and trying to outdo one another in wealth and children: like the plant-growth after rain which delights the cultivators, but then it withers and you see it turning yellow, and then it becomes broken stubble. In the Hereafter there is terrible punishment but also forgiveness from God and His good pleasure. The life of the world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion. (Quran, 57:20)

Christianity, Islam and Judaism

Muslim consider the prophets of Judaism(Moses) and Christianity(Jesus) to be true messengers of God, but hold Muhammad to be the last messenger. Muslim do not worship their prophet, unlike the Christian i.e. all messengers are created human beings, who have none of the divine qualities of God. Allah is a Arabic word which simply mean God. The word Allah appears throughout Arabic translations of the Bible. All Prophets from Prophet Adam(First man in this world) to Last Prophet Muhammad delivers same message that "There is only one GOD" and dont create corruption in the land i.e. God has no partners or helpers nor does He share His Lordship with any of His creations. Throughout history, all the prophets of God had been calling people to believe in life after death. Indeed, the necessity of life after death ought to be evident to the moral consciousness of man. Without an Afterlife, the very belief in God becomes, one may say, irrelevant. Muslim Worship the one God whom Jesus, Moses, Abraham and Muhammad worshipped. The scriptures such as Torah, Bible and Quran that are specific to these religions were indeed all sent down by one God. The Qur'an is the final revelation from God, and will remain until the Day of Judgment. Although the Torah(Jews) and the Bible(Christians) were true scriptures at the time they were revealed, but now they have lost the quality of their authenticity. Islam and Judaism both consider the Christian doctrine of the trinity and the belief of Jesus being God as explicitly against the tenets of Monotheism (One God). Idolatry, worshiping graven images, is likewise forbidden in both religions. Previous Messengers were only sent for their people and nation and their complete message was meant only for a particular time period. Moses was only sent for the Jews. Jesus sent only for the Jews i.e. lost sheep of Israel. Prophet Muhammad is the Last and Final Messenger for the Whole of Mankind. Neither Muhammad nor Jesus came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one God, brought by earlier prophets, but rather to confirm and renew it. More than 1 Lakh Prophets sent to mankind in different time. But only 25 Prophets (Names of prophets http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophets_of_Islam ) mentioned by name in the Qur'an. Prophet Muhammad is not the Founder of Islam, he is one of the Almighty Prophet among all Prophets, The Islam Born Since First man, Prophet Adam Step his Foot on Earth. Muhammad Foretold in the Bible There are so many predictions in the Bible regarding the Prophet of Islam that refer to him in unequivocal terms. Some of them are "And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he said, I am not learned." (Isaiah 29:12) Muhammad was illiterate and could not read or write before revelation .All the Biblical prophets could all read and write, this must have been Muhammad.

"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him." (Deuteronomy 18:18-19) This means that whoever believes in the Bible must believe in what this prophet says, and this prophet is Muhammad. Note that God has said in the prophecy of Deuteronomy: If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account. The Bible clearly teaches that there is only one true God, the one whom Jesus worshipped (see John 17: 3). Hinduism and Islam

Hinduism is commonly perceived as a polytheistic religion. Indeed, most Hindus would attest to this, by professing belief in multiple Gods. While some Hindus believe in the existence of three gods, some believe in thousands of gods, and some others in 330 million Gods. However, learned Hindus, who are well versed in their scriptures, insist that a Hindu should believe in and worship only God (source:irf.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=146&Itemid=129). The common Hindu, therefore, considers everything as God. He considers the trees as God, the sun as God, the Cow as God, the snake as God and even human beings as manifestations of God! Islam, on the contrary, exhorts man to consider himself and his surroundings as examples of Divine Creation rather than as divinity itself. In other words the Muslims believe that everything belongs to God. The trees belong to God, the sun belongs to God, the Cow belongs to God, the snake belongs to God, the human beings belong to God and everything in this universe belongs to God.

Islamic view about the Bible

Muslims also believe that God revealed a holy book to Jesus called the Injeel, some parts of which may be still available in the teachings of God to Jesus in the New Testament (Bible). But this does not mean that Muslims believe in the Bible we have today because it is not the original scriptures that were revealed by God. They underwent alterations, additions, and omissions. This was also said by the Committee charged with revising The Holy Bible (Revised Standard Version). This Committee consisted of thirty-two scholars who served as members of the Committee. They secured the review and counsel of an Advisory Board of fifty representatives of the co-operating denominations. The Committee said in the Preface to The Holy Bible (Revised Standard Version), p. iv: Sometimes it is evident that the text has suffered in transmission, but none of the versions provides a satisfactory restoration.

Allah Questions to arrogant people who deny the existence of God

To those arrogant people who deny the existence of God, Allah questions them about His creatures, Do you ever think about the seeds you sow in the soil? Do you make them grow? Or is it We Who turns the seeds into a field full of crops?[Quran 56:63-64] Did you bring the trees (and forests) into being? Or is it We Who causes them to be? [Quran 56:72] Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. Is it you who create it (i.e. make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator? [Quran 56:58-59] Can Men Create a Fly? In another verse, Allah challenges others to create a fly if they could do it. Men may be could make robots from things that created by Allah. Yet, none could make a fly from nothing nor thing that could reproduce except Allah: O ye folk! a parable is struck out for you, so listen to it. Verily, those on whom ye call beside God could never create a fly if they all united together to do it, and if the fly should despoil them of aught they could not snatch it away from it - weak is both the seeker and the sought.[Quran 22:73] Is there a Controller of the Universe? There are millions of people controlling the traffic on road, sea, and air. Beacons are built. People also build traffic light and radar. Air Traffic Control is built to prevent accident. All vehicles have drivers. Even though there are many controllers, the accidents still happen. On the contrary, the Earth, Sun, Moon, Stars, and others always revolve for billions of years without single crash. Most scientists believe that the Earth, Sun, and all of the other planets and moons in the solar system formed about 4.6 billion years ago. For billions of years until now the Earth never bump into the Sun, and the Sun never collides with the Moon. If we really think about it then we will know that God exist. Muslims also believe that this world neither created itself, nor that it came from nothing - and we believe that it is a product of Intelligence, rather than chance. And He is the One Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Each is afloat in its orbit [Quran 21:33] Do you not see how your Lord spreads out darkness? If He wanted, He could make it permanent! But He appointed the sun as a pilot (to drive away the darkness) [Quran 25:45]

Do you not observe? Allah causes the night to take over the day, and He pushes the day over the night. He tamed the sun and the moon. Each of them is in motion for a specified term. Allah is well aware of everything you do [Quran 31:29]

What Is the Quran About?

The Quran, the last revealed word of God, is the primary source of every Muslims faith and Practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, Transactions, law, etc., but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines and detailed teachings for a just society, proper human conduct, and an equitable economic system. Note that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad in Arabic only. So, any Quranic translation, either in English or any other language, is neither a Quran, nor a version of the Quran, but rather it is only a translation of the meaning of the Quran. The Quran exists only in the Arabic in which it was revealed. "Do they not then consider the Quran carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradiction."(Quran 4:82)

Scientific Miracles in Quran

The Qur'an has thousands of miraculous verses proving that it is undoubtedly a revelation from God and not the work of a human. It is filled with scientific facts and imagery that are supported by modern findings.1400 Years ago what Quran said has been proved today by many scientist. Some of them are 1) It is He Who created The Night and the Day, And the sun and the moon: All (the celestial bodies) Swim along, each in its Rounded course. [Quran 21:33] For a long time scientists believed that the sun is motionless at the centre of the solar system with the planets revolving around it. In 1609, the German scientist Yohannus Keppler published the Astronomia Nova. In this he concluded that not only do the planets move in elliptical orbits around the sun, sun also rotate upon their axes at irregular speeds.1400 years ago a normal human being could not explain the celestial bodies in the Universe. This verse proves that the information must have come from a supernatural source. 2) We made from water every living thing[Al-Quraan 21:30]And Allah has created Every animal from water[Quran 24:45] Only after advances have been made in science, do we now know that cytoplasm, the basic substance of the cell is made up of 80% water. Modern research has also revealed that most organisms consist of 50% to 90% water and that every living entity requires water for its existence. Was it possible 14 centuries ago for any human-being to guess that every living being

was made of water? Moreover would such a guess be conceivable by a human being in the deserts of Arabia where there has always been scarcity of water? 3) Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from A drop emitted(Sperm) Proceeding from between The back bone and the ribs. [Quran 86:5-7] In embryonic stages, the reproductive organs of the male and female, i.e. the testicles and the ovaries, begin their development near the kidney between the spinal column and the eleventh and twelfth ribs. Later they descend; the female gonads (ovaries) stop in the pelvis while the male gonads (testicles) continue their descent before birth to reach the scrotum through the inguinal canal. Even in the adult after the descent of the reproductive organ, these organs receive their nerve supply and blood supply from the Abdominal Aorta, which is in the area between the backbone (spinal column) and the ribs. Even the lymphatic drainage and the venous return goes to the same area.
4) Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? Nay, We are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers. [Quran 75:3-4] Unbelievers argue regarding resurrection taking place after bones of dead people have disintegrated in the earth and how each individual would be identified on the Day of Judgment. Almighty Allah answers that He can not only assemble our bones but can also reconstruct perfectly our very Finger tips. Why does the Quran, while speaking about determination of the identity of the individual, speak specifically about fingertips? In 1880, fingerprinting became the scientific method of identification, after research done by Sir Francis Golt. No two persons in the world can ever have exactly the same fingerprint pattern. That is the reason why police forces worldwide use fingerprints to identify the criminal. 1400 years ago, who could have known the uniqueness of each humans fingerprint? Surely it could have been none other than the Creator Himself!

5) He makes you, In the wombs of your mothers, In stages, one after another, In three veils of darkness. [Quran 39:6] According to Prof. Keith Moore these three veils of darkness in the Quran refer to: (i) anterior abdominal wall of the mother (ii) the uterine wall (iii) the amnio-chorionic membrane. 6) And He gave You (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (And understanding). [Al-Quran 32:9] Verily We created Man from a drop Of mingled sperm, In order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), Of Hearing and Sight. [Quran 76:2] The first sense to develop in a developing human embryo is hearing. The fetus can hear sounds after the 24th week. Subsequently, the sense of sight is developed and by the 28th week, the retina becomes sensitive to light. In all these verses the sense of hearing is mentioned before that of sight. Thus the Quranic description matches with the discoveries in modern embryology.

And I (God) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone) (Quran 51:56) From this verse, the purpose of life can be simply stated in only two words: Obey God. We must come to know our Creator, Sustainer and Ultimate Judge. We must learn to believe in Him, thank Him, praise Him, honor Him and worship Him, alone without any partners from His Creation. Worship of the One True Almighty God of the Universe [Allah in Arabic] as a primary goal or aim in life provides a believer with everything he needs to succeed in both this life and the Next Life (Life after death). But those who believe (in the oneness of Allah) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to Gardens under which river flow (i.e. in paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah's promise is true. Whose speech could be truer than Allah's? (Al-Quran4: 122) Why we should Worship (or) Believe God? Allah promises Paradise to those who believe in one God and his messengers (Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus Christ, but hold Muhammad to be the last messenger, May Almighty Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon them all) and work righteousness. Allah says of paradise that "I have prepared for My slaves what no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no human heart can imagine". It is utterly amazing and most beautiful. Everything will be permanent. Life will be without any danger of death; there will be health without any risk of disease. There will be happiness without any fear of aging. Everywhere there will be happiness, ease, comfort, and enjoyment without any pain, worry, hardship or distress. Natural beauty and greenery are among Paradise's wonderful blessings. Mansions built in gardens, right next to springs, are another beauty. Paradise, in which there is "neither burning sun nor bitter cold" (Quran76:13), has such a pleasant climate that no one is made uncomfortable. It contains no exhausting sweaty heat or freezing cold. In Paradise, Allah will admit believers into "cool, refreshing shade" (Quran 4:57) more>> For disbeliever, Hell is a place of the exact opposite, meaning that everything is in a defective, polluted, rotten and disgusting state. Vile smells, vile filth, vile words, vile darkness, vile food and generally vile everything are characteristics of hell. Allah makes clear to man what is evil and what is good. In addition, Allah has given man eyes, ears, a heart and the faculty of judgment, with which to distinguish goods from evil. Because, through these qualities, man may easily come to recognize Allah's existence and greatness, and

have faith in Him. Some people are indifferent to Paradise, saying: "If it comes; fine. If it doesn't, that's fine too." However, in the afterlife there are only two possibilities: Paradise or Hell. There is no option to go to a place in between. Do you not see those who dispute concerning the signs of Allahhow they are turned away from truth? Those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers soon they will know. When the yokes will be round their necks and the chains. They will be dragged in the boiling water. Then in the Fire they will be burned.(Quran 40: 69-72)

What Does Islam Say about Terrorism?

The term "terrorism" does not exist in the Qur'an or the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. . True Muslim will never kill innocent people because they know that whosoever does that (i.e., kills another person unjustly), he abodes in hell where he shall dwell forever. According to the following verse, if you kill one innocent person, then you have killed the whole of mankind, If anyone slays a person, it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people (Quran 5:32) Like Christianity, Islam permits fighting in self-defense, in defense of religion, or on the part of those who have been expelled forcibly from their homes. It lays down strict rules of combat which include prohibitions against harming civilians and against destroying crops, trees and livestock. There are two groups promoting the concept that Islam is tolerant of terrorism. The first is those wishing to hijack Islam for their political purposes and have distorted and misquoted religious text to justify their abhorrent actions. The second are those who wish to spread fear and hatred of Muslims to suit their political or economic agendas, and similarly distort and misquote religious text to claim that Islam condones such abhorrent actions. Jihad In Arabic, the word jihad translates as a noun meaning "struggle". One of the biggest forms of Jihad is the Jihad of self discipline. It is an internal struggle to teach one to contain one's own self and to develop the power of self control against one's evil desires. Jihad is only for the sake of defense, and in truth, it is resistance against transgression, and can certainly be lawful. When Islam got its first start in the Arabian peninsular, Muslims were being persecuted for their beliefs. They argued that their forefathers had worshipped idols for countless generations, therefore idolatry was right; and they could not allow Muhammad to meddle with their mode of worship. Muslims were being attacked during the life time of the Prophet. For a nation, to defend its independence, is undeniably lawful. So, defense of life, defense of wealth,

property and lands, defense of independence, defense of chastity, all these are lawful defenses. Jihad is permissible only for the persecuted and as a defense against tyranny. Differential treatment Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy and forgiveness. If an individual Muslim were to commit an act of terrorism, this person would be guilty of violating the basic tenants of Islam. When Timothy McVeigh bombed the Oklahoma City building and Anders Behring Brevik bombed the Norway, no Christian was labeled as a terrorist or was the target of hate crimes. When Irish Christians carry out acts of terrorism against each other and on the British Isles, the Christian religion is not blamed but individuals or their political agenda. Unfortunately, the same is not true for American Muslims and Arabs. The vast majority of Muslims or Arabs have no association with the violent events around the world yet Islam is invoked with terrorism. It is unfair to blame 1.97 billion Muslims and second largest religion of the world.

Who Is the Prophet Muhammad ?

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in Mecca in the year 570 (1400 year ago). The last and final prophet that God sent to humanity was the Prophet Muhammad. Muhammad explained, interpreted and lived the teachings of Islam. Some religions believe their prophets to be manifestations of God, "God Incarnate" or the "Son of God". All of these false ideas lead to the creature being worshipped instead of the Creator, which contributed to the idolatrous practice of believing that Almighty God can be approached through intermediaries. In order to guard against these falsehoods, the Prophet Muhammad always emphasized that he was only a human-being tasked with the preaching of God's message. He taught Muslims to refer to him as "the Messenger of God and His Slave". To Muslims, Muhammad is the supreme example for all people - he was the exemplary prophet, statesman, ruler, teacher, neighbor, husband, father and friend. Muhammad was of a deeply religious nature, and at the age of 40, while engaged in a meditative retreat, Muhammad received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. This revelation, which continued for twenty-three years, is known as the Qur'an. Before the Prophet died, at the age 63, the greater part of Arabia was Muslim, and within a century of his death Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far as East as China Mankind was one single nation, and God sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. God by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For God guided whom He will to a path that is straight (Quran2:213)

What Do Muslims Believe about Jesus?

Muslims consider Jesus (peace be upon him) as one of the greatest of Gods messengers to mankind. The Quran confirms his virgin birth. The Quran describes the birth of Jesus as follows: (Remember) when the angels(Gabriel) said: O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him (God), whose name is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, revered in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (to God). He will speak to the people from his cradle and as a man, and he is of the righteous. She said: My Lord, how can I have a child when no mortal has touched me? He said: So (it will be). God creates what He wills. If He decrees a thing, He says to it only, Be! and it is. (Quran, 3:45-47) This verse rejects the divinity of Jesus. It also explicitly condemns the doctrine of the Trinity, Believe therefore in One God and His Apostles and say not "Three." The Messiah (in Hebrew), the son of Mary, is only a prophet and neither God nor son of God. Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God which had brought Adam into being without a father. God has said: The case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He created him from dust, and then He said to him, Be! and he came into being. The truth (comes) From thy Lord alone: So be not of those who doubt. (Quran, 3:59-60) During his prophetic mission, Jesus performed many miracles. God tells us that Jesus said:I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Gods permission. I heal the blind from birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to life by Gods permission. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses.... (Quran, 3:49) Many Christians are under the impression that Jesus miracles unique to himself and thus constitute evidence for his divinity. This miracles are also done by earlier prophets.(Elisha cured Naaman the leper (II Kings 5:14),Elisha caused the blind to see(II kings 6:17&20).In the new Testament which confirm that JESUS DID NOT ACT ON HIS OWN. Jesus is quoted in John 5:30, as saying:I can of mine own self do nothing..

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. It was the plan of Jesus enemies to crucify him, but God saved him and raised him up to Him. And the likeness of Jesus was put over another man. Jesus enemies took this man and crucified him, thinking that he was Jesus. God has said: ...They said: We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God. They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but the likeness of him was put on another man (and they killed that man)... _(Quran, 4:157) Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD; my Lord and your Lord." Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers. (Quran, 5:72)

JESUS IN THE BIBLE

No basis in the Old Testament for Trinity or God-incarnate. Nowhere in the Gospels does Jesus actually call himself Son of God. Instead, he is reported to have repeatedly called himself son of man(e.g. Luke 9:22) innumerable time. And in Luke 4:41, he actually rejected being called Son of God. Of all the commandments, which is the most important? The most important one, answered Jesus, is this: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. (Mark 12:28-30). Jesus confirmed not only that this commandment is still valid, but also that it is the most important of all the commandments. If Jesus thought that he himself is God, why did not he say so? Instead, he stressed that God is one. The man who questioned Jesus understood this, and what the man says next makes it clear that God is not Jesus, for he said to Jesus: Well said, teacher, the man replied. You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. (Mark 12:32). Now if Jesus was God, he would have told the man so. Instead, he let the man refer to God as someone other than Jesus, and he even saw that the man had spoken wisely: When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. (Mark 12:34). If Jesus knew that God is a trinity, why did not he say so? Why did not he say that God is one in three, or three in one? Instead, he declared that God is one. Both Old and New Testaments teach the Unity. The idea that there is only one God, who created all things, is repeatedly emphasized in such Scriptures as Isaiah 45:18:For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; I am the Lord; and there is none else. A New Testament example is James 2:19:Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well; the devils also believe, and tremble. For more http://www.islamguide.com/ch3-10-1.htm#s5

Allah will say (on the Day of Judgment), Oh Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever instruct people, Worship me and my mother as two other gods along with Allah? Jesus will answer, Exalted are You! It is not my place to say anything I have no right (to say). Had I said that, You would have already known it. You know what is in my mind, while I do not know what is in Your mind. Indeed, You have (absolute) knowledge about (absolutely) everything hidden and unseen. (Quran 5:116).

The Veil in Christianity

Bible says that all women should cover their head Although many Christians are unaware, Christian women must cover her head. The Bible orders women to cover their head as a submission to man. It further strictly states that a woman should either shave her head or cover it. Corinthinians11:6 it says "If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off, and it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head" Westerners, are often the first to criticize Islam because of the hijab (modest dress, including head covering).Have you ever wondered why Catholic nuns dress like they're wearing hijab (Muslim hijabi women, have you ever been mistaken for a nun? I have, more than once). Have you ever wondered why Mary the mother of Jesus (peace be upon them both) is always depicted in Christian art with her hair covered? Did you know that until the 1960s, it was obligatory for Catholic women to cover their heads in church (then they "modernized" the service)? Corinthinians11:3-5 But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered, disgraces his head. But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered disgraces her head, for it is the same as if she were shaven.

The Veil in Islam

A Muslim woman wears Hijab (Arabic word mean covering, modesty) for the reason that God has commanded it in the Quran and Sunna(Hadith). People usually only discuss hijab in the context of women. However, in the Glorious Quran, Allah first mentions hijab for men before hijab for the women. The Quran mentions in Surah Noor:

Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. [Al-Quran 24:30] The moment a man looks at a woman and if any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he should lower his gaze. If the God had told the women to wear hijab then on the other hand a man should have a beard. The main principle reason for the hijab is MODESTY - not wishing to receive unnecessary attention from people, such as admiration and flattery, envy, or, most importantly, sexual attraction from those other than her husband. Great care is taken to keep sexual thoughts, feelings and interactions to within the boundaries of the marital relationship. Also, wearing a hijab is a way of treating oneself as somebody who is precious and special, like a treasure that is kept hidden until it is uncovered. In this way, Muslim women gain more selfconfidence and self-respect knowing who they are in the society. Wearing a hijab is a matter of personal conviction and opinion. There is no compulsion in religion, for the right way is clearly from the wrong way. Whoever therefore rejects the forces of evil and believes in God, he has taken hold of a support most unfailing, which shall never give way, for God is All Hearing and Knowing. (Al-Quran 2:256)

ISLAM Islam is a way of life. It is simple, practical, and easy to understand. Religion is not seen as something special to be isolated from life but as an integral part of everyday FIVE PILLARS Islam is based on five pillars. 1. To declareThere is only one god, and Muhammad is the messenger of God. Islam is based primarily on the Quran (the word of God) and secondarily on the authentic sunnah (the example of the prophet).

2. Establishing the regular five times ritualistic prayer [salat] in the stated times (in the mosques for the men when possible) 3. To fast during the month of Ramadan. (The purpose of fasting in Islam during Ramadan is not penance for sins, but rather to develop taqwa God-consciousness.) 4. To give charity to the poor.[2.5% of ones holding] 5. To perform pilgrimage to Mecca once in a lifetime if one has the financial means and health to do so. ISLAMIC ARTICLES OF FAITH There are six basic articles of faith. 1. To believe in God. 2. To believe his Angels. 3. To believe his Apostles (like Abraham, Noah, Jacob, Joseph, Jonah, David, Solomon, Moses, Jesus, Muhammed .. ) . 4. To believe his revealed books (e.g. Taurat, Zabur to David, Injeel to Jesus, & Quran to Muhammed). 5. To believe in resurrection, the Day of Judgment, and Heaven and Hell. 6. Divine Decree: That God is omniscient (All Knowing) and has power over all things. A Muslim must believe Allah knows everything past, present and future. Also, that God controls everything that exists and has ever existed. Who Is A Muslim? One who believe sincerely in their heart, the five pillars and the articles of faith called a Muslim. It is that simple! A man who believes allah, follows Quran and Prophet teachings alone called as true muslim , others muslim in name only. A true Muslim is God-fearing. He fears none but Almighty Allah. The fear of God guides him and helps him stay away from evils and empowers him to resist satanic temptations. He holds the commandments of his Lord most dear to him and obediently fulfills them with great pleasure. He performs five times prayers regularly and punctually with immense pleasure and proper concentration (there is a very severe penalty for leaving prayer). A true Muslim loves Muhammad (Peace be upon him), the last prophet of Islam, more than his own dear life, for he believes that his faith remains incomplete unless he loves his prophet above all else. Having unshakable belief in the Holy Quran revealed on the prophet of Islam, he also has firm belief in the saying of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). The pleasure of Allah and his Apostle Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is his ultimate goal. With fulfillment of the rights of God, a true Muslim takes every care not to neglect the rights of people. The rights of people are equally important for him. He tries his best not to hurt anyone and do full justice with everyone who comes into his contact. He is polite, courteous, kind,

generous, forgiving and honest in his attitude towards the people he meets in his day-to-day life. Once he promises, he never breaks it or back out of it. He takes utmost care to fulfill all his commitments with people. A true Muslim is indeed a man of words. Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) said: Forgive him who wrongs you. Join him who cuts you off. Do good to him who does evil to you and speak the truth even if it be against yourself.

Last day of the world

As for the knowledge of the time of Qiyamah (End of the World), it has not been given to any angel or Prophet. Nobody besides Allah knows when the final hour is. The Quran states, O Prophet the unbeliever ask you about the time of Qiyamah. So tell them that it's knowledge is with Allah only(Surah Luqman) However certain events are going to take place prior to the coming of the final hour. These events are known as the Signs of Qiyamah. All the Prophets informed their people of the signs of the final hour. Some of the signs are Wine (intoxicants, alcohol) will be drunk in great quantities, Illegal sexual intercourse will become widespread, Earthquakes will increase, Time will pass more quickly, Bloodshed will increase, Trustworthiness will be lost, i.e. when authority is given to those who do not deserve it, The sun will rise from the west , Jesus Christ will descend in Damascus, and pray behind the Mahdi , There is no-one left on the earth saying, "Allah, Allah" or "There is no god except Allah, The number of men will decrease, whilst the number of women will increase, until for every man there are 50 women more>>

Real Happiness and Inner Peace

Real happiness and peace can be found in submitting to the commands of the Creator and the Sustainer of this world. God has said in the Quran: Truly, in remembering God do hearts find rest (Quran, 13:28) On the other hand, the one who turns away from the Quran will have a life of hardship in this world. God has said: But whoever turns away from the Quran, he will have a hard life, and We will raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment (Quran, 20:124) This may explain why some people commit suicide while they enjoy the material comfort money can buy. For example, look at Cat Stevens (now Yusuf Islam), formerly a famous pop

singer who used to earn sometimes more than $150,000 a night. After he converted to Islam, he found true happiness and peace, which he had not found in material success.

Guinness world of record book states Islam is the fastest growing religion:
There are thousands of celebrities reverted to Islam from different religions (list of people) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_converts_to_Islam and some of the them are Wayne Parnell(South Africa player), Tony Blair Sister in law , Aka Loon (US rap artist), Dave Chappelle , Michael Jackson , Diams(French Lady Singer), Snoop Dogg , Mike Tyson, Chris Tucker, Cat Stevens and many more. The Last Word

We need to pay due attention to these facts, and reconsider our goals in life, and, if necessary, reorient our actions and the direction of our lives in the light of the following facts. Do we know our Creator? Do we give thanks to Him? Are we aware of the Book He has sent us as a guide to the true path? Or, what do we do to live by this Book?

All else will pass or perish, but God will remain for all eternity. We will someday die, and will then be raised again, and called forth to Allah to give account of our deeds. Surrender yourself to the purpose of your creation, worship Him and turn towards Him.

Live a Happy and Fruitful Life

Inner peace will only be achieved if we know the reason for our creation..
