I thank God for the miracle of life. A woman and man who are faced with an unplanned pregnancy dont often smile in the initial moments following a positive pregnancy test. However, I have seen many concerned and somber faces turn to smiles as they watch their baby move on the ultrasound screen. The miracle of life is amazing! God has created each of us in uniqueness and wonder. He is the author of life. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your commitment to the miracle of life. I also want to thank you for the ways you open the door to life for others. Your prayers, financial gifts and the gift of your time are all ways you express your passion for life here at Care Net Pregnancy Services of Northern Kentucky. We have

had many parents express gratitude to us for advocating life for their unborn children. As parents experience their newborns many have stated, I cant imagine life without my baby. One young woman confessed with tears welling up in her eyes, I cant thank you enough, I love my daughter, I may not have had her if I hadnt come here. Care Net further supports clients in their choice for life by preparing them for caring for their baby through our parenting education classes. Your financial gifts make this possible. Please join with us in our celebration of the choices made for life at our 2nd annual client picnic happening on September 17. Life is a miracle worth celebrating!! Blessings...Lyndi

2011 Annual Banquet Be a Hero for Life

Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Fundraising Banquet. This years banquet was our most successful fundraiser to date! Our Annual Banquet was once again held at Receptions; the venue and food were amazing. A packed room enjoyed dinner followed by our guest speaker, Jason Jones, and our live bear auction. Jason Jones, international humanitarian and executive producer of Bella, did a phenomenal job as our guest speaker. He shared his inspirational testimony and encouraged the crowd to stay committed to the great work being done by Care Net. Jason also presented Care Net with the National Bella Hero Award for the hard work done throughout the year and the difference we are making in the lives of so many. Clients Christine and Marcus shared their experience with their video. Babies Bella and Millie were also in attendance! To view Marcus and Christines story go to www.choselifenky.org.
Below: Jason Jones, international humanitarian and executive producer of the movie Bella speaks passionately to 450 supporters concerning life issues.

Executive Director, Lyndi Soden, graciously accepts the HERO award presented by Bella HERO project founder Jason Jones.

The room is filled with Heroes for Life

Bright and cheery Hero Bears were available for adoption. Each bear was named after a Care Net baby!

After the choice.

When a client enters one of our centers, she is welcomed with a warm smile and greeting, How can we help you today? That same unconditional acceptance and support continue long after that initial pregnancy test, after the parenting education program is completed and especially after the baby is born. In an effort to keep in touch with our past clients, Care Net hosted our first Client Reunion Picnic last summer at Presidents Park in Edgewood. On that August day, we were blessed with beautiful weather and a day of fun, food, activities and fellowship for our volunteer mentors and their clients and families. This event was a wonderful reunion, allowing us to see how our Care Net women, men and children are progressing and growing. It is an opportunity to continue to celebrate their choice for life and support our young parents. Our staff and volunteers made side dishes, salads and desserts and the JTM Food Group generously donated barbeque to make sandwiches. We had 85 clients and their families attend so we are planning the Second Annual Client Reunion Picnic to be held on Saturday September 17, from 12:00-2:00 p.m., again at Presidents Park. We invite each of you to join us that day and meet the amazing young women and men you enable to choose life!
Support Life in Kentucky by choosing the Choose Life License Plates next time you renew your vehicle's plates. Mention you would like to include the $10 donation which goes to support crisis pregnancy centers across the state. The monies collected are divided and distributed to Kentucky pregnancy centers. Care Net Pregnancy Services of NKY received $2,681 in 2010.
