Objective
To obtain a position within a growth oriented and progressive company that offers a
challenging opportunity. I want to apply my IT knowledge and skills particularly
networking plus PC repairs, and I want to be exposed in systems administration to
gain all aspects in IT operations industry.
Skills
Management
• 2 years experience in handling 32 contractual laboratory assistants and 40
student assistants.
• Knowledgeable in security, facilities planning, project planning, staff management
and budget preparation.
• Monitoring progress report and doing analysis of lab utilization reports.
Networking
• Six years experience in network installation, troubleshooting and design.
• Had a 2 Semester’s training of Cisco Network Academy Program.
• Attended a training conducted by Panduit Philippines on Structured Cabling and
Fiber Optic splicing.
• Attended the 3com hands on technical training.
• Attended the SMC Networks END-USER Technical Training (LAYER 3 SWITCH).
• Configure VPN, TCP/IP, LAN, MAN, WiFI, Cisco routers and Layer 3 switches
(3com & SMC switches).
• Those training relatively enhance my knowledge and skills in network design and
troubleshooting.
Operating System
• 8 years extensive experience in troubleshooting and installation of Windows
platforms from DOS 6.22, Win 3.11 to Win XP Professional.
• Attended a 5 days training on Supporting and Implementing Windows XP
professional.
• Knowledgeable in installing, configuring and administering Red Hat, Fedora Core,
and UBUNTU GNU/Linux.
• Had a background in installation and configuration of Novell Netware.
• Performs OS hardening, fine tuning and maintains checklist for security
configurations.
Programming
• Knows simple programming using visual basic 6, creating batch files and simple
scripts.
Database
• Knows basic SQL commands.
Hardware
• Had a background in repairing electronic components, repairing CGA monitors,
CPU power supplies, floppy disk drives etc.
• Has a background in basic electronics.
• Knows how to interpret schematic diagram of a circuit elements.
• Knows how to use Multi-tester (ohm-meter, volt-meter), oscilloscope, fluke
network tester and tone tracer.

Position: PC/Network Manager
(Presently having a dual position which is a PC/Network Manager and a PC/Network
Engineer)
• Supervises all Lab Assistants and Student Assistants in their activities in the lab.
This includes staffing, attendance monitoring, hiring, scheduling, evaluating and
training.
• Maintenance of hardware and software on all labs. Keeps track/inventory of all the
facilities inside the lab.
• Handle lab reservations and monitoring lab schedules.
• Monitor lab utilization reports.
• Monitor Student Assistants allowance reports.
• Update laboratory policies and procedures when needed.
• Annual budget preparation.
• Annual project planning.
• Performs other duties analogous, germane, or related to my work
