Project #1-Led by Mark Hendricks, Cutting and splitting wood for a needy person who mainly heats with a wood burning stove. Project #2-Led by Sue Tingler, Major House cleaning for an elderly woman of Lancaster. Project #3-Led by Lowell Trimmer, a morning of service for the Foundation Shelter. Project #4-Led by Glen Shady, Rake-n-run for some of our elderly and for some of our community. Project #5-Led by our trustees, odd job projects around the church (including cleaning the kitchen).

Join us in a journey to become more familiar with your Bible. Consider doing these two things:

Words cant express how good it made me feel to have you all come to my party Saturday nite, sent cards, phone calls, flowers, and gifts for me. It was truly a great 85th party. Thank you so much. I am really blessed to have such a great family of children, grandkids, great grandkids, and great greats, and such a wonderful church family. God has truly been so good to me. Christmas Project
The Philothean Sunday School class is sponsoring a Christmas project to collect items for the Blue Star Mothers to include in Care Packages that they will be boxing and sending to deployed soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq. There is a list of items needed posted on the bulletin boards and in the Sunday School classrooms. There will also be a collection box in the parlor. Deadline for your donations is Sunday, November 6, 2011. Thanks for your participation in this effort to support our troops.

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." -Proverbs 22:6 Reach Out on Campus (ROC) Finals Packages Donated Items Due by Sunday, November 13, 2011 We are going to send 75 gift bags to undergraduate and graduate students, along with some faculty members, at Ohio University for finals week this semester. These bags are being sent through ROC in order to show the students and faculty Jesus love and the support of His church. Following are examples of items that could be donated: Gatorade Energy Drinks Bottles or Cans of Soda Gummies Candy Gum or Mints Individually-wrapped snack items Slim Jims Ramen Cups Easy Mac Power Bars Breakfast or Granola Bars Small Boxes of Cereal Individual Peanut Butter Cups Stress Ball Encouraging Bookmarks McDonalds Dollars Hot Chocolate Packets

Trick or Treat
October 27, 2011 / 6:30pm-7:30 pm We want to encourage you to involve yourself in the community by taking part in Trick-Or-Treat. This Sunday in the parlor there will be cards that we want you to tape candy to and pass out from your home on this evening. This is a great way to connect your neighborhood with our church.
