BREAK THROUGH MATTHEW 28 v 18-20 ; And Jesus came and said to them, All power is given to Me in heaven and

in earth. Go therefore and teach all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. All nationalities are included in this command. And Jesus came and said to them THE PERSON. MARK 16 v 15-16 ; Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptised shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be damned. Jesus claimed equal power with God. JOHN 5 v 19 ; Then answered Jesus and said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself but what He sees the Father do, these also does the Son likewise. V 21. For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them, even so the Son quickens whom He will. So Jesus sends His disciples out to preach the gospel and heal the sick and gives them the power of the Holy Spirit and the abilities to perform the work in the name of Jesus. Jesus was sent to this planet to save the people from the eternal torments of the lake of fire and brimstone. JOHN 3 v 16-17 ; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. JOHN I v 12 ; But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. THE POWER. Jesus, the-Son of God who was given the power to perform miracles in healing the sick, raising the dead, giving sight to the blind and healing the lame. He had many other gifts which He used in the performance of these miracles. LUKE 14 v 18 ; The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty all them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. This is Jesus who had numerous prophesies in the Bible, declaring the time and place of His birth some seven hundred years before Christ was born. No other person in all history could ever successfully claim His title of Jesus Christ the Son of God. JOHN 3 v 34-35 ; For He whom God has sent speaks the word of God, for God gave not the Spirit by measure to Him. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. JOHN 5 v 19-21 ; Then answered Jesus and said to them, Verily, verily I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do. For what things soever He does, these also does the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and showed Him all things that He does Himself. THE PEOPLE. LUKE 9 v 1-2 ; Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. LUKE 10 v I ; After these things the Lord appointed seventy also and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself would come. V 17 ; And the seventy returned again with joy. saying, even the devils are subject to us through Your name. So the people heard the word of God and they saw some of the miracles Jesus and His disciples performed to the glory of God. The sick, the poor and those people who had rejected God's discipline or who had never heard the gospel before. Many of these repented of their sins and worshipped God and became followers of Jesus. LUKE 24 v 46-48 ; And said unto them, Thus it is written and thus it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name

among all nations beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. The disciples were speaking from their experiences of walking with Jesus. Have we been walking with Jesus long enough to tell others about Him ? I JOHN I v 3-4 ; That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you that you also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you that your joy may be full. Baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. THE PURPOSE ; Few people realised the awesome power that is in the Godhead. The Holy Spirit indwells the true believer. 1 CORINTHIANS 3 v 1 CORINTHIANS 3 v 16-17 ; Know you not you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you ? If any man defile the temple of God him shall God destroy for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are . . ROMANS 8 v 26 Likewise the Spirit helps our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. We are baptised in water in recognition of the death , burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This was a command of Jesus to His disciples and they preached to the people.. Then there is the baptism of the Holy Spirit whereby the power of Jesus anoints us for service to Him in God's vineyard. LUKE 24 v 49 ; And behold I send the promise of My Father upon you, but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high. So the break through comes with a new life in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5 v 16-17 ; Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. And all things are of God who has reconciled us to Himself, by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. ACTS 4 v 12 ; Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. ROMANS 4 v 24-25 ; But to us also to who it shall be imputed if we believe on Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. Who was delivered for our offences and was raised again for our justification. ROMANS 10 v 8 ; That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. The deity of God is beyond questioning. GENESIS I v I ; In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. GENESIS 20 v 3 ; You shall have no other God before me. DEUTERONOMY 7 v 9 ; Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God which keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations. ACTS 2 v 38 ; Then Peter said to them, repent and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Our salvation and spiritual maturity comes about through the work of the Godhead. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. THE PREACHING. ACTS 13 v 37-39 ; But He who God raised again saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore men and brethren that through this man is preached unto you forgiveness of sins. And by Him all that believe are justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. ACTS 15 v 7-8 ; And when there had been much disputing Peter rose up and said to them, Men and

brethren, you know that a good while ago God made choice among us that the Gentiles, by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel and believe, And God which knows the hearts bare them witness giving them the Holy Ghost as He did to us. The early disciples were eager to preach to the people, the gospel of Jesus Christ, about the love of God and the reason for the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. They taught others faithfully those things that they had heard from Jesus and God blessed them. Jesus gave special gifts to them to pass on to all believers as they were converted and baptised. EPHESIANS 4 v 11-12 ; And He gave some apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some pastors, and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. EPHESIANS 6 v 18-20 ; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. And for me that utterance may be given me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds, that therein I may speak boldly as I ought to speak. ACTS 6 v 4 ; But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word. Let us pray for and preach to those unsaved friends of ours as we are guided by the indwelling Holy Spirit. So now the gospel message goes round the world, some accepting it joyfully but others still rejecting it. And lo, I am with you even unto the end of the world. THE PROMISE. These words are spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ, the spotless sinless Son of God. Scripture tells us the Godhead can be with us for eternity. JOHN 14 v 16 ; And I will pray the Father and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever. V 23 ; Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love Me he will keep My words, and My Father will love him and we will come to him and make our abode with him. I THESSALONIANS 4 v 16-17 ; For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I THESSALONIANS 5 v 9-11 ; For God has not appointed us to wrath , but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us that whether we wake or sleep we shall live together with Him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together and edify one another. Let us believe the promises of God and act upon them in worship and praise and obedience that we can walk with Him now and be with Him for eternity. So the breakthrough comes when the person living in sin becomes aware of the Person of Jesus Christ and why He died for the sinners of this world. Then turns from his sin and turns to God for reconciliation, forgiveness and a new life with the Godhead abiding with him. He now worships God and not satan, having now been saved from eternal torments in the lake of fire and brimstone. Shackled by a heavy burden, neath a load of guilt and shame Then the hand of Jesus touched me and now I am no longer the same. He touched me, 0 He touched me and 0 the joy that floods my soul Something happened and now I know, He touched me and made me whole. Since I met this blessed Saviour, since He cleansed and made me whole, I will never cease to praise Him, I'll shout it while eternity rolls.
