PHILIPPIANS 4 v 7 Seed Thoughts And the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." What is peace ? The Jewish word is Shalom. To wish you health, wealth, and all that you would wish for in blessings from God to the person addressed. There is no animosity or resentment towards the person you bless. The peace of God is provided by God, supplied by Jesus in His death and resurrection and applied by the Holy Spirit who has taken the place of Jesus on earth. 2 CORINTHIANS 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; V 4, Who comforts us in all our tribulation , that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble. by the where with we ourselves are comforted by God. V 5. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ. ROMANS 8v26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ough:t but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. VI. THE PEACE OF GOD ; THE PROMISE PSALM 29v11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. JOHN 14v27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. There is a peace given to Christians that is not known to the unsaved during times of tribulation. We can give God the glory and praise Him for the knowledge that He cares for us and has no wish to see us sick or suffering. THE PARTICIPATION. PROVERBS 3v1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: V 2. For length of days and long life and peace shall they add to you, As we keep in the will of God and worship Him so we will participate in His peace and blessings. PROVERBS 16v7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. JOB 22v21 Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. The love offerings that we make to God show Him the strength and sincerity of our desire to praise Him for making our reconciliation possible with Him through the Lord Jesus Christ. JOHN 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. THE GOD OF PEACE. PROVISION ISAIAH 57v19 . I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. ISAIAH 45v7 . I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. ISAIAH 55:12 For ye shall go out with Joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. ISAIAH 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: PSALM 4:v8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. PSALM 3v:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. Christ as man while He was on the earth was a perfect sinless man. People followed His as the Son of God. PSALM 8v:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. ISAIAH 55: v-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Perhaps the simplest way to understand the peace of God is to meditate on John 3 v 16 PSALM 8:4-5 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. V 91; 0 Lord our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth. Throughout the New Testament we are exhorted to love and care for one another and to abide in Jesus, then the peace of God that passes all understanding will be ours. PSALM 119v165-167 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Lord, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. SHALL KEEP YOUR THOUGHTS AND MIND. PERFECTION . MALACHI 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away for iniquity. LUKE 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. LUKE 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace. What a glorious feeling to know that God is merciful and will forgive the truly repentant, giving us peace of mind and the promise of eternal life with Jesus if we continue to abide in Him. JOHN 16:33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. JOHN 14:27. It is our wrong thinking and attitudes that get us into trouble with God and destroys our peace of mind, and joy in the Holy Ghost. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. ROMANS 2:7. To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: V 10 ; But glory, honour and peace to every man that works good, to the Jew first and also of the Gentiles. ROMANS 14 :17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. ROMANS 16v20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Grace, peace and forgiveness, what glorious gifts a loving God gives to those who follow Him in sincerity and truth and seek to glorify His name. ROMANS 15v13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. PROCURER OF PEACE. ISAIAH 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ISAIAH 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Several times in the New Testament Jesus says to someone, your sins are forgiven, go in peace. MATTHEW 11:28v30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. He is our peace.THESSALONIANS 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace aways by all means. The Lord be with you all. If we know the presence of God and Jesus, then we should know the joy and peace of the Holy Ghost. ROMANS 14v19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one

may edify another. THE WAY TO PEACE WITH GOD. PARTITION ; Turn from the style of life that displease God, and seek His forgiveness through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then with reconciliation with God seek to study the Scriptures to know more about God and Jesus and be obedient to them as the Holy Spirit reveals the truths to you, Abide in Jesus and He will abide in you through His Spirit. EPHESIANS 1v13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. PARDON. ROMANS 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Let us join in with others in the church who worship God and seek to show the love of Jesus to others. 1 JOHN 1 v 9 ; If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. PSALM 32:1-2 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. PLEASURE. ISAIAH 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. PSALM 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The most peaceful and eternal place for the believer. JOHN 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. I CORINTHIANS 2v9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 2 CORINTHIANS v 9 ; And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you always having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work. PERFORMANCE. GALATIANS 4v6-7 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Let others see by our daily performance that we belong to Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 1 v 6 ; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: With the guidance of the Holy Spirit our way of life should be pleasing to God and the good works that we do should be to His glory. PSALM 55v22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. PRAISE PSALM 103v1-4 Bless the Lord, 0 my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, 0 my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; V 8 ; The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. V 12. As far as the East is from the West so far has He removed our transgressions from us. We have so much to praise God for Thank You God for sending Jesus, Thank You Jesus that You came. Holy Spirit come and help us, glorify the Saviour's name. PSALM 47v1 ; 0 clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. PSALM 30v1. I will extol thee, 0 Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice

over me. PRICE. In the middle of all the meditations we need to consider the praise paid for our redemption. JOHN 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ACTS 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. I'm not ashamed to own my Lord, or to defend His name. Maintain the honour of His word, the glory of His Cross. And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
