Far Eastern University in the City of Manila (largest ensemble of Art Deco structures in the Philippines) Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila - a defense fortress built for Spanish conquistador, Miguel Lpez de Legazpi; Jos Rizal, the Philippines' national hero, was imprisoned in the fort before his execution in 1896; served as barracks for Spanish artillery soldiers during Spain's colonization of the islands

Heritage City of Vigan, Ilocos Sur - The city's full name at the time of its Spanish foundation was "Villa Fernandina", or "Town of Ferdinand", in honour of Prince Ferdinand, the firstborn son of King Philip II of Spain.
