To facilitate my university administration i, along with few other students founded a society named THE MANAGERS- Arid Management

Society, to arrange curricular and extra-curricular events. In my tenure as its President, we have organized workshop on excel and SAP, seminars on various topics, a welcome and a farewell party. This society is still serving the University and is a platform of opportunities for the students. During a group project of formation of Marketing Plan, during MBA, i have come across a situation when two group members had serious disagreement on the product we had selected. Their disagreement led hampered group work and performance of the group. Being team leader i stepped in and listened to arguments of both, and the arguments of proponents of the product we selected. I worked out that disagreement is due to the fear of failure of the product selected. I did comprehensive study that can the selected product fail or it has a market demand. Then i presented the results to whole team, everyone assessing the stats agreed that we should pursue the same product including the two who had disagreements. After this we worked well as a team and presented the product successfully. Significant involvement in Event Management at my University or work place, Cricket, Chess, Teamwork, Networking Our project in Marketing Management was Marketing Plan of an innovative product, during my MBA at GCU Lahore. We planned to launch animated video lecture DVDs of science subjects for matriculation students of Federal Board. We had to assess market demand by collecting data regarding number of students and schools, calculate costs, look out for animated video studios, assess the acceptability of our product for investors, formation of report and then final presentation that we had to deliver our teacher on the completion of the project. I distributed work amongst my group members according to their aptitude i.e., giving statistical work to those who were number friendly minds. I formed project completion timeline and strictly observed compliance and helped others to be able to meet timelines. I also managed conflicts and settled them off at earliest to avoid hampering of group work. We were successful and were rewarded with appreciation in the end. I won Silver Medal with first position CGPA wise in BBA (Hons.) and was awarded with merit scholarship thrice. I remained an active member in my University events during Bachelors and takes keen interest in Event Management & Societies during my current degree (MBA) as well. I have worked as Intern in Finance & Accounts Department of OGDCL for 6 weeks and in Joint Secretary Office at Ministry of Education for 8 Months. I, along with my team, completed formation of three PC-1 Forms on the developmental projects to be initiated by Ministry of Education. I have learnt excel during my course in MBA and SAP-User FI Module through a ten-day workshop. I am a keen learner and an effective team player as iterated by team members i have worked with.
