ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I would like to acknowledge the following people for making this project a success: Mr Ovini for his advice on how to compile the project. My parents for the financial support. My sister for helping me while doing this project.

Group members for providing the materials used to construct the study lamp (Esava, Petero, Seru, Luke).

INTRODUCTION
Study lamps are used by students for doing home work and for studying in the night. My group and I will do a research about the different types of study lamps that students in school use at home. Some of the advantages of study lamps is that it will enable students to study in the room with out the use of light bulbs or globe lights and if the power goes off some of the study lamps that will occur in our research may contain batteries that can be used for these study lamps without the use of electricity.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Some of the problems I faced while doing this project are: Finding relevant research work Searching through hard wares

Getting information from stores about the materials of the study lamp

Sketching the possible solutions and final solution

DESIGN BRIEF
Firstly, a research about the different types of study lamps was done and one was chosen. Its possible solutions and final solution of the study lamp was made. Later the working stages and exploded view were drawn. Lastly it was concluded that the study lamp was made in school using the tools and materials that were provided.
