The Allegro AL1000 real-time encoder ingests SD-SDI and HD-SDI uncompressed inputs and delivers live audio/video outputs in several formats simultaneously, adapted to broadcast, IPTV, PiP, Internet TV, and Mobile TV. The same source, or different sources, can then be delivered to various targets such as mobile phones, set-top boxes, and PC players at the same time, for catching the broadest audience. Supported formats include iPhone 3.0, Silverlight 3, Adobe Flash, Windows Media, 3GPP / Edge Mobile TV, IPTV and Picture-inPicture. Multi-bitrate encoding allows bitrate adaptation for iPhone and Windows Media, Silverlights Live Smooth Streaming, and 3GPP bitstream-switching (BSS), allowing the viewers to experience the best video quality allowed by their local and instantaneous network conditions. AL1000 offers proven interoperability with various streaming servers and redundancy with N+P flexible schemes and network teaming. Allegro encoders are easily administered by SNMP and can be integrated in any existing Management System. A single 1 RU chassis delivers up to 16 outputs simultaneously for unrivalled integration.
