And We have not sent you,( O Muhammad), except as a mercy unto the worlds.
If anyone wants to know how Muhammadwas a mercy to the whole mankind, then hundreds of books would not be enough to contain the different aspects of the mercy he was and the mercy he had brought. However, some of the aspects of the mercy would be given here an account. The entire humanity was wandering in the darkness of ignorance and then was sent from Allah, a Prophet which enlightened the world. Muhammad always tried, to such an extent, to save the humanity from the torments of hell-fire, that Allah said: (O Muhammad), if they do not believe in this Message, you will perhaps fret yourself to death with grief, sorrowing over them.[18;6] Muhammad was sent to whole of the mankind. He did not call people to his message as an Arab nationalist, instead as a human being. He said, An Arab was not superior to a NonArab or vice-versa and neither were white superior to black or vice-versa. All are the family of Adam and Adam was built of clay. The best of you is the one who is more fearful of his Lord. And so, it was his mercy that the world was able to see the unparalleled Universal Brotherhood he had brought into existence. Before Muhammad people were bound in several superstitious rituals of their so-called religion and had themselves made the lives hard. Muhammad came and made religion easy and freed the man of the superstitious bounds. As a result when man was not allowed to discover anything new or research on astronomy, etc. due to his irrational beliefs was now able make several scientific inventions and discoveries resulting in the explosion of scientific knowledge. And so Muhammadwas also a mercy to the scientific field.

Chapter : 21 Verse : 107

Abu Huraira narrated Allah's Messenger ( )as saying: You (people) can not satisfy people with your wealth, but satisfy them with your cheerful faces and good character. Reported by Hakim Abu Dhar narrated Allah's Messenger ( )saying: Do not consider any act of goodness insignificant, even it is meeting your brother with a cheerful face. Reported by Muslim

Misnomers

It is being taught in our syllabus that Muhammad was the founder of Islam. In fact, the religion (way of life) taught by every prophet, be it Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses or Jesus , was Islam, but their people invented a new religion after the prophet had passed away.

Muhammad was the Last Prophet in the series and he too preached Islam as other prophets did. It is also propagated that the followers of Muhammad are called Mohammedans. He did not preach Mohammedanism, but as said above he preached Islam and the followers are called Muslims.

entire life and the message he brought, has positively transformed lives of millions around the world and shall continue to do so. This humble messenger came into this world to revive the true message of Islam and guide mankind towards worshipping the one true creator Allah.
Prophet Muhammad was born in 570 AD in the Arabian city of Makkah in the noble tribe of Quraish at a time when the whole of humanity was in the darkness of an uncivilized life. By the time he was 5 yrs old, he had lost both his parents. Right from a young age, he disliked the pagan culture and the polytheistic rituals around him. When he was 40, Allah chose him to be His messenger and thus began the revelation of the glorious Quran which continued for a span of 23 years till the time he lived. Prophet Mohammad was a religious teacher, a social reformer, a moral guide, an administrative

icon, a faithful friend, a wonderful companion, a devoted husband, a loving father all in one. No other man in history ever equaled him in any of these different aspects of life. He was a very brave and fierce warrior on the battlefield facing the enemies of Allah, but once he was off the battlefield his eyes were downcast and he was very gentle. In his life he had never sent anyone empty-handed. He never said an uff to his servants. And thus he brought the revolution that the world had not seen before and after that. He not only established a powerful and dynamic society but also completely revolutionized human thought and behavior and guided mankind towards a way of life based on complete submission and obedience to Allah with sincerity and peace. He freed mankind from the slavery of other men, and made them the slaves of the only Creator. The Quran, the word of Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad and also we have the collection of the authentic sayings of the Prophet, without the slightest loss or alteration. Today, we have both of these sources of guidance, which contain the way to success in both the lives.
