WELCOME TO AMSTERDAM!

...and welcome to New Amsterdam Magazine.

Arriving in a new city can be confusing and daunting, but not if you have someone to help you figure it out. That’s why
we want to be your first friend in Amsterdam. Let us show you the best places to eat, drink and sleep in this amazing
city. Amsterdam can be cheap if you know where to go, and we’re all about helping travellers get the best deals out
there. Not sure where to start?

Try out a New Amsterdam Free Tour, led by some of the most charismatic, witty and recommended tour guides in the
business. Locals recommend THIS tour to their friends from abroad. The guides are ALWAYS native English speakers
so you won’t have to work to understand them. While biking is fun (unless it rains), there’s simply no better way to get
to know Amsterdam than by walking the streets. THE TOUR IS FREE, as all our guides work on a tips-only basis so
that everyone can enjoy Amsterdam, regardless of budget.

By the end of Amsterdam’s Free Tour, you’ll have gained the background knowledge to know what it is you want to
do next, and you’ll very likely have met some like-minded travellers looking to do the same as you… whether that be
visiting the Van Gogh Museum or the Sex Museum, the Jordan District or the Red Light District, a café or a coffee
shop. Amsterdam is one of the world’s first superpowers, and there’s much more to the city than drugs and sex.

We hope you find this magazine and our tours helpful, fun and informative. If our magazine helped you out and you
want to say thanks, if we missed something, or if we made a mistake (yes, even we make mistakes), then email us at
info@newamsterdammagazine.com and let us know!

Have a great stay in Amsterdam!
