Test Preparation with flashcards: Create your flashcards and begin to go through them creating three piles. Pile 1 is for those terms/concepts/ideas you do not know. Pile 2 is for those that you kind of know while pile 3 is for those terms/concepts/ideas you definitely know. The goal is to get all of the cards into the I definitely know pile. Be honest with yourself as you come to each flashcard. It doesnt help if you put a kind of know in the definitely know pile. Keep reviewing throughout the week and then save your cards and re-review in the months and days prior to the exam. The great thing about flashcards is that you can review by yourself but you can also have someone quiz you on the flashcards as well. (Thanks to the Bepko Learning Center at IUPUI for this information.)
