Chapter 1 Introduction
Proudly present Micronet SP926, Wireless Media Projector Server, ideal solution for an easy installation, convenient operation and user friendly projecting device. It allows normal wired conference environment to upgrade to wireless connectivity. Users no longer require sharing a single VGA cable nor do they require any Ethernet cable for Internet connection. SP926 is also designed to work as an Access Point for servicing Internet connection to wireless users. SP926 is a compact device that combines AP and Wireless Media Projector Server to provide a more convenient and professional conference environment.

Follow the steps below to setup the hardware: Connect projector via VGA cable to SP926s monitor port and turn on both devices. When Projector shows the default menu on the screen, it indicates the SP926 is ready for connection.
For configuring purpose, connect an Ethernet cable from the PC to the LAN port of SP926. Follow the IP configuration setup to connect to Web-Based Management Interface.
Chapter 3 Configuration
Follow the steps below to configure and set up Wireless Media Projector Server. A computer with wired Ethernet connection to the device is required for first time configuration.
3.1
IP Address Configuration
PC/Notebook must belong in the same IP range and subnet. Follow the steps below to configure IP settings for LAN PC.
Step 1. In the control panel, double click on Network Connections. Double click on the local area connection (e.g. LAN). The following screen will appear. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on Properties.
Step 2. Select Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically, then click <OK>.
Step 3. In DOS command, type ipconfig to view information on LAN connection. Ensure the IP address and subnet mask are on the same subnet as the device.

SP926 is embedded with HTML pages and provides a series of web pages, which display the configuration and status of the system. After configuration of IP, the management interface can be access by entering the IP address of the SP926 into the browser. Settings for SP926 are available pressing <Admin> (Password: admin).

In order for communication between notebook/PC and SP926, users will need to install or use a token USB to access the Utility. Utility software can be downloaded off the Web-Based UI. For further information on token USB, please consult the User Manual.
1. On the Download Interface, click on <Download> to save the file onto the hard drive (Leave the password field blank). Execute the installation program to install the client utility.
2. A shortcut will be created on the desktop. Click on the icon to initiate the client software.
3. This is the client interface for connecting to SP926. Please enter the login code displayed on the monitor.
4. After the login code is correctly entered, the following tool bar will appear. Press the icon to start projecting.
5. To switch to Video mode, click on the hand bottom of the tool bar.
6. To play videos, click icon to open the file browsing window. Select the file and press <Open> to start the video streaming.

Conference Control
This function allows user to host a meeting smoothly without swapping projector cable and each participant can show their presentation more efficiently. 1. Select Conference Control function. 2. Enter password, the default value is trainer, and then press <Login>. 3. After login, users can see a User List on the screen which indicates all of users connected to SP926. 4. There are three columns, Computer Name, Play Control and IP Address.

In the conference session, only the conference admin can assign someone to project. If anyone tries to project, these warning messages will popup.

Select Admin and then enter password to login web page. The password default value is admin.

Gatekeeper is designed for ensuring the enterprise network security within SP926. Administrator can block Guest Users (through wireless) to access all office network (LAN). The option provides output with 16bit or 32 bit color depth. It will depend on users PC settings. This is VGA output refresh rate. It provides 60 Hz and 75Hz to suit different kinds of projectors. Users can set the login code type: Disable, Random and Use the following code.

Users will need to enter the new preferred password in this field. Reenter the new password to verify.

1. Power off SP926. 2. On the rear panel, press <Reset> button and Hold. 3. Turn on device. 4. Wait for over 10 seconds and relief <Reset> button. 5. It will take effect to restore factory default settings.
1. Firstly, users have to get latest firmware image file from the vendor. 2. Click <Browse> to specify file name to upgrade.

3. Click <Upgrade> to start. 4. A warning message will appear and start to count down. 5. After a few minutes, a complete message will be shown on the screen. 6. Restart SP926 to take effect.
Do not power off SP926 while firmware upgrade in progress, otherwise will cause the device to malfunction.
To logout of this interface, press the <Logout> button located on the top of the right hand side of the interface.
