NOTICE
The schedule for submission of Project Reports and Project Viva-voce for students of MCA VI Sem 2011 is as follows:
1. Last date for Submission of Examination Forms - 10.10.2011 of MCA VI Sem. 2011 with late fee Rs. 50/2. Submission of Project Report - 8.11.2011 to 9.11.2011 3. Tentative date of Presentation - 11.11.2011 to 13.11.2011 & Viva-Voce Note : Exact dates of Project Viva-voce will be notified lateron.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Students are required to deposit the TWO copies of Project Report by 9 November 2011 in the Centre. MCA VI Sem. Examination will be held tentatively between 11 November to 13 November 2011 (including both dates). 2. In case two or more Students have worked on the same project, the names of all the students involved with the Project should be mentioned in the Project Report. 3. All the students must return library books, magazines, media, project reports etc. if issued, before the last date of submission of Project report otherwise they will not be allowed to appear in the Project Viva-Voce Examination. 4. Each student should submit the Project Report along with a Certificate from this Centre and Cover Page as per given format. 5. Project contents should be as follows : Preface, Acknowledgement, Certificates, Preamble of Organization Introduction to Organization Study of the existing system Scope, Objectives and Aims of the Project

System requirements & Specifications Project Study and Structured System Analysis Hardware and Software requirement Technologies/Development tools used ITC (Internet Communication Technology) Infrastructure System Design (Databases, Inputs/Outputs, Processing etc.) Data Flow Diagrams/Charts Inputs, Queries, Output Screens/Snap shots Sample outputs of Screens/Reports/Lists User Instructions Bibliography

6. The Project Report should be supported by an Original Certificate from the Company/Institute from where the student have carried out project work. The certificate must contain dates (from to) clearly indicating the duration of your project work in the Company/Institute and also mentioned that the authentic Project work carried out by him/her at the Institute/Organization. Certificate should be officially issued on the companys letterhead. 7. Project Work in the MCA VI Semester Examination shall carry 500 marks whose distribution as given below : (i ) Project Report Evaluation 300 marks (ii) Internal Assessment 200 marks 8. Internal Assessment Examination : Each candidate have to give a power point presentation on the Project Work before the Internal Assessment Committee and other students. Each member of the group should prepare his/her own presentation. 9. External Examination : Each candidate has to appear in Viva-Voce to be conducted by Board of Examiners to defend his/her Project Work.
