Study Direct Eco-Learning

As a Schools‘ Publishing Service we develop curricula and publish learning content to be available
in a form that speaks of: quality, creative awareness and social responsibility: "For People and
Planet".

We enable invited sponsors and supporters to support a schools programme to reinforce

environmental and social responsibility.

We work by invitation with a small number of independent and well-connected Trusts and
Foundations who are keen to support education: human-scale education, self-paced learning,
multi-cultural understanding and whole person development.

Our points of reference, the people who inspire us, the organisations whose values we share,
include: Schumacher College, Resurgence Magazine, University of Bristol – Dept of Environmental Sciences, Agora
Trust, The World Cafe, Transition Culture, Seven Generations, The Hub - and many others too numerous to mention!

For any student who has a book bought from us, we can provide:

A membership service for teachers and their students

1. Education providers - with their own courseware – are invited to apply to work with us at Eco-Campus.
2. Participating writers have help in producing courseware and workbooks complete with Study Direct content.
3. Our series of workbooks for school subject areas in 2008-2009 is available for those who have graduated from
Eco-Campus experience – see EcoLearning Prospectus.

Workbook series for educators

All members who apply to work with us can realise benefits. Study Direct allows teachers
to earn from each book sold.

When a teacher has completed Eco-Campus orientation, he or she

would be entitled to order a minimum quantity of doursebooks that the
teacher supplies to his students.

We allow schools the option to order bulk quantities, in order to access

Study Direct Curriculum Development services and teacher training, as
well as customise their own content.

Products

1. Printed, bound and finished Study Direct books are available for
purchase directly by schools and teachers working with us.
2. Study Direct courseware and workbooks (optionally) can be
customised with sponsor's logo (according to minimum number)
3. Study Direct books can be customised with Study Direct content
(and schools' content, as developed and localised by us)
4. Books can be branded under the school or university sponsor to
generate revenues for the sponsor

centre and Eco-campus in Greece.

For any school that orders diaries, planners, journals and handbooks we provide access to courseware, curriculum
development, new markets, communications, branding and multi-cultural orientation.

Lingua Vista Courseware - the EFL Programme for self-managed study

Study Direct provide course books in Chinese for Chinese learners and printed
courseware in English as a Foreign Language for learners worldwide.

The Lingua Vista courseware is university-level material designed in conjunction

with two leading universities: Charles University in Prague and Pedagogic Faculty
of South Bohemia.

The course takes the learner from zero knowledge of the Roman Alphabet to
university-entrance standard.

Study Direct Publishing and Eco-Campus can be used in connection with any co-
operating NGO, university, social enterprise or education sponsor.

Lingea Vista is currently available in: Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German, Czech and Polish.

Lingua Vista EFL Study Programme can be localised into any target language for self-managed learning and tutor-led
interaction.
