The Web Portal project is a national health care program for State of Mississippi. It
helps pay for medical services for low-income people, for those eligible for full Medicaid
services. Medicaid is paid to providers of health care. Providers are doctors, hospitals and
pharmacists who take Medicaid.
Provider, Beneficiary and DOM (Division of Medicaid) are the users of the system.
Provider will provide the services to the Beneficiary and Beneficiary gets benefits (services) from
the provider.

Description:
The objective of our project is to maintain the total process of the NHG. It
consists of several modules like front office, back office, coding & billing and
administration modules. The project also contains the transformation the data of the
insurance and patient appointments form files where the data is stored in a fixed static
format to the database.
The administrator module maintains all the users of the application and
administrative changes of the data. The front office deals with the particular doctor at a
particular time, checking of eligibility details of that patient according to the insurance
and after treatment details like billing to the insurance companies as well as patient and
preparation of reports along with this. The processing and verifying of the details can be
maintained in the back office. The coding & billing is to maintain the bills and coding of
the appointments after the service. This is an intranet project for NHG.

Role Responsibilities:

• Creating DAO classes and developing Session Beans.

Description:
The AES Sonel Billing Systems application will enable various actors to manage
the customer billing information, generate their bills and track the payments made and
also generate the necessary reports.
Various employees of AES Sonel handling the application will have different
roles and rights. Depending on his/her roles and access right, the application login will
enable the particular section to the user and he will not have access to the other sections
of the application. Consumers subscribing to AES Sonel services should register from
the subscription interface by authorized personnel of AES Sonel.
