URBAN SKETCHERS WORKSHOP AGREEMENT

This agreement is made between Urban Sketchers and (Instructors name) ______________________________________________________ for (Workshop Name) ____________________________________________________ (Date) ____________________(Location) ____________________________________ THE PARTIES HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Engagement You to the best of your ability, agree to conduct a workshop and/or presentation at (location)______________________, according to the terms conditions of this Agreement. This Agreement is effective as of the date signed by you and Urban Sketchers and shall continue in effect until it is: canceled by either you or Urban Sketchers consistent with Paragraph 6; or concluded by completion of your workshop and/or presentation. As an instructor conducting a workshop you will not be compensated by Urban Sketchers for services rendered. You will be responsible to supply your own workshop materials and make all necessary arrangements required to conduct your workshop. In exchange for promoting your workshop on our blog site, you agree to compensate Urban Sketchers with 10 percent of the registration fees collected for the workshop. And you agree to submit submit the 10% fee within 15 days of the conclusion of the workshop. You agree to conduct a workshop and/or presentation as described in this agreement according to the Urban Sketchers workshop guidelines and also agree: a. To abide by the dates in the Agreement b. To ensure that any handouts to be used do not violate copyright, trademark, patent, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity. You shall present at the workshop as described by this agreement at your own risk. You shall indemnify and hold harmless Urban Sketchers from any claim, demand,

loss, liability, damage, or expense arising in any way from your performance of service. 6. Cancellation In the event of cancellation, the workshop instructor is responsible for the reimbursement of all fees collected from participants related to the workshop. The instructor is also responsible for establishing the cancellation policy and including this information in the registration material. As an instructor conducting a workshop you are responsible for supplying the names and email addresses of participants to Urban Sketchers for distribution of workshop surveys and agree to having participants surveyed by Urban Sketchers. Urban Sketchers will share the results of the survey with the workshop instructor. As an instructor conducting a workshop you will include a clause in the registration form stating that by registering for the workshop, participants agree that photos taken of the workshop can be used on the Urban Sketchers workshop Blog for promotion of future workshops. You agree not to sell any particular product or service at any time during your presentation. You may make a brief reference to a particular book, product, or service, as long as it is not presented in the context of a sales pitch.
