Today there will be a Thanksgiving Concert by the Winston-Salem Community Band today at 3:00 at the Southfork Community Center in Winston-Salem. The following activities are cancelled this week: Quilters, Choir Practice, and Bible Study. Our Thanksgiving Morning Lovefeast will be this Thursday, November 24 at 7:00 a.m. Chuck Harmon, pastor of Willow Hill Moravian Church will be the guest speaker. Daily Texts are available in the church office. Prices are $9 for paperback, $13 for hard copy, $11 for large print, and $14 for journal format. Thanks to everyone who helped at or supported the Chicken and Brunswick Stew yesterday. Next Sunday is the First Sunday of Advent. The band will play a prelude at 9:15 a.m., there will be special music by the choir, and we will pray the Advent Liturgy and sing Hosanna. Oak Groves 6th Annual Advent Family Night will be next Sunday, November 27 at 5:00 p.m. We will begin with supper followed by activities for children, youth, and adults.
