What is CMS?

CMS – Campus Management Solution is a large database system which can be used for
managing your school's day to day business. CMS allows users to store almost all of
their school's information electronically, including information on students, employees,
properties, teaching meteorites etc. Most importantly, this information can be easily
shared with authorized users, records can be easily searched, and reports can be easily
generated.

CMS is configurable and can be configured to meet most individual school's needs. It is
a multi-user system and can be used by hundreds or even thousands users at same
time. General speaking, it is platform running on a Local Area Network (LAN).
However, if the CMS server is configured to be a public server - with a static IP or
domain name - it would not have a boundary limitation. Wherever you are, once you
have an Internet connection and CMS client installed, you can logon to the CMS server
easily just the same as if you were sitting in the school office. However, the speed
limitation is up to both your client's and server's Internet speed.

Fee Modules

School can manage all types of fee transactions taking place in a school. User can
configure different types of fee heads, available in school i.e. admission, tuition, library
fee, security deposits, etc. Different types of fee payments modes in the school i.e.

Examination Module

This module is used for the evaluation, performance analysis, rank preparation, grade
calculation, marks sheet generation and printing. School can define all types of exam
conducted. Different weight age can be set for different exams as far as final
marks/grade in concerned. Teachers can enter the marks of their subjects only, other
teachers cannot view/edit the marks. Marks cab be entered for selected students for the
entire class. Mark sheet can be printed on pre-printed formats as per the exam selected.

Library Module
A full featured library management system which supports member integration with
payroll and academic modules. Keeps detailed information of supplier, publishers and
authors. Item receipt entry will generate the library accession number of all the items
automatically. Items can be hold, released, or reserved on member requests. Issue and
return of items is managed effectively. Late fine will be calculated, if the item is not
returned on due date and receipt will be generated & printed simultaneously. Reminder

Time Table Module


Module automatically creates a schedule of class, period, teachers, etc based on the
criterion. Main time table will be generated considering all the parameters defined by
the user. The software ensures that there are no overlapping of teacher or class.
Subsititute time table will be generated as per the absent teacher information. This
module will auto generate the time table for different classes in a planned way, so that
there are no extra classes in terms of allocation of teachers, no teacher is given extra
workload, etc.

Detailed employee information with support of image is effectively managed. Supports

This module, the Principal can track the yearly, weekly and daily teaching activities of
the teacher. The yearly planner, weekly planner and daily planner is managed by the
teachers which describes the plan for the year, week and day. Teacher performance

compares the teacher’s performance.

Question Bank Module


Modules, handles the question paper for different examinations in the school, which
includes creating new test papers, updating the previous ones. It’s a complete softwares
system to auto generate the question paper, test papers, and user can print the question
paper. The test paper is being generated based on different criterion like class, subject,
name, topic, teacher wise & the type of question like objective, subjective, description,
etc. User has given a complete flexibility to add new question & marks allocation.

Security Module
Security system will provide the login facility using which, only the authorized user can
access the software. The three level of security is provided.

1. Module Level
2. Form Level
3. Field Level

The user can be assigned different user rights on the basis of which user can access
modules, forms and fields.

The administrator has full rights, he has the rights to create a new user, change the
password, create a new group, allots rights to other users.

Campus Management Solution’s web interface provides different logging for parents,
students, teachers and principal of the school.

Parent’s Login provides different features including:

Personal Details: details about father and mother information like qualification,
designation, income, office address, phone number email, current contact details, etc. if
there is any changes in the information parent can immediately inform the school
authority for the changes.
Child Details: details about their child/children in the school. Information like class
section, stream, and transport details etc.
Observations: All relevant observation by the school for the their child/children like
responsibilities held in school, awards and accolades, medical history, counsellor’s
remark, etc.
Attendance: Parents have the facility to see the complete attendance sheet of their
child/children.
Fee Details: All the information related to the fee summary, details etc related
child/children, option of personal register will give parents complete details about the
fees submitted, heads, dates, bill number, etc.

Exam Time Table: parents have the options to see the different complete examination
scheduled for the child.
Exam Performance: Gives parents the option of the viewing the marksheet online and
take the printout of the same alongwith students photograph, school details, general
remark given by the teachers.
Achievements: List out all the achievements achieved by the students
Assignments: list out all the assignments according to subject wise with completion
date and parents can even view the assignment for their reference along with
information like name of the teacher complete date and complete details of the
assignment.
Syllabus: parent can view the complete list of the subject assigned to the students along
with the complete list of topics covered in particular subject, with teacher information
and exam procedure.
Email: Parents can contact any listed staff member of the school for any
personal/official help regarding the any kind of information.
Request for Certificate: parents can send direct request for TC certificate to the school.

3 Training & Installation

Terms & Conditions:


• Delivery: 6-8 weeks from the date of receipt of the PO and payment.

• Taxes: The above prices are exclusive of all local taxes. The same will be charged
extra as applicable by HCL to (Client).

• Warranty: There is a warranty on the solution purchased for one year from the
date purchased. Thereafter, the warranty will continue to get extended on an
annual basis as long as (Client) continues to renew the Annual Maintenance on an
annual and timely basis from the second year onwards.

• Validity of Prices: These prices are valid for 30 days.

• Force Majeure: HCL shall be under no liability whatsoever on the occurrence of


any Force Majeure event such as war, fire, arson, industrial action, orders of
government or other duly constituted authority, any natural calamities or Act of
God, etc.

• HCL provides the solution to (Client) based on the above understanding, In case
any additional scope of work or legal licenses or copyright act has to be noticed
by (Client) only.

• HCL and (Client) will come into a agreement to fulfil the scope and when ever
there is change in scope mutually will agree and the same in the agreement as
and when it arises.

• Above pricing is for generic software. In case of any customisation in software


charges will be taken as per the degree of customization in the software

• Payment terms : 50% advance along with the written confirmation order, 40%
after deployment phase, 10% after one month of implementation.
