Ever since SBUs first unit in 1934 in Sewree to manufacture BALMEROL brand of Greases & Lubricants, todawith about 2.3% market share, we are spread east-est & North-South and have installed manufacturing units in Kolkata in est Bengal, Taloja & Sewree in Mumbai, Silvassa in Gujarat and Chennai in Tamil Nadu to produce 72000 mt/kl per annum of BALMEROL brand of lubricants. !hysical & Financial !erformance Back 1o 1op [ Close SBU : Greases & Lubricants have achieved milestones in field trials of new generation traction gear compound & suspension bearing oil with Indian Railways, Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluid and establishes several products like Race 4T as per JASO MA2 specification, Gold Premium CI4 15 40 engine oil, expander oil, new generation sulphonate complex & synthetic lithium complex greases etc. SBU: Greases & Lubricants has also overshoot its budgeted profit to Rs.7.16 crores in 2008-09 and achieved turnover growth of 7.25% over last year in spite of drop in volume by 8.5%.
