MyARTS is a COMBAT operated program in the heart of downtown and the Crossroads District where young people gather from all parts of Jackson County creating vitality that is unforgettable, yet humbling. The former Mayor Barnes said it best: Downtown is the worlds window to our city, some even refer to downtown as our citys living room. It is a reflection of our energy, our spirit and our hometown pride. Downtown is what most visitors see and therefore, is a symbol of our entire city. 10/12

Urbanista is a lighthearted, yet sincere tribute to the youth of MyARTS. Their unique passion for art combined with their unparalleled, enthusiastic personalities give this typeface its soul. The MyARTS Young Artists provided all of the fine art in this specimen, as well as the driving force behind the typefaces concept. MyARTS offers a safe haven for at-risk high school students to express themselves and grow as artists and designers.
