OUR LADY IMMACULATE, BRYN and GARSWOOD

Feast of the Immaculate Conception Thursday of this week (8th December) is the feast of the Immaculate Conception. While not a Holyday, it is our Parish Feastday and so an important opportunity to reflect on Marys preparation for bringing Christ into the world and how that is reflected in our lives, both individually and as a parish. The morning Mass will be at 9.15am, when we will be joined by the children from school. There will also be an evening Mass at 7.00pm after which we will bless and officially open the new Nazareth Room in the Parish Centre which will be used for Family Catechesis and Sacramental Preparation. There will then be a Social Evening in the Parish Centre. I wish as many of you as possible will join us for this occasion. Baptism Preparation : Last weekend saw the final session in the initial phase of our new baptism preparation programme, and I would like to express my thanks to all who have helped to welcome and support our families preparing for their childrens baptism. Next weekend, Aaron, Dominic, Jak and Kian Ford will be baptised during the 9.30am Mass. Please keep them, their parents and the other families in your prayers at this time. Service of Reconciliation : There will be a Service of Reconciliation (with individual Confession) at Our Ladys on Wednesday 14th December at 7.00pm.
