Seasonal Industry Notes
For LT 3a (i) Seasonal Industries Rs.37 /HP/Month on 30% of contracted load. For LT 3a (ii) and LT 3b Seasonal Industries Demand Charges of Rs.100 /kVA/month on recorded demand or 30% of contracted demand which ever is higher. For HT Seasonal Industries Demand Charges applicable to respective voltage level on recorded demand or 30% of CMD which ever is higher. Cotton Seed Oil Manufacturing units shall be treated as Seasonal Industry with applicable terms and conditions in both LT and HT Categories.

Fuel Surcharge Adjustment


Fuel Surcharge Adjustment (FSA) is applicable to all categories except agriculture as notified by the Commission from time to time as per the regulations made by the Commission in this behalf.

SURCHARGE FOR LOW POWER FACTOR All HT consumers and LT consumers provided with metering capable of measuring active and reactive power shall maintain 0.95 power factor. If the power factor falls below 0.95 during any month, the consumer shall pay a surcharge as detailed below: Sl. The surcharge for low power factor will be effective from 1st April 2009. The necessary amendments to General Terms and Conditions of Supply shall be carried out with regard to surcharge for low power factor. Incentive The following incentives are applicable for HT Category I-a Industry General consumers:
Load Factor(LF) More than 50% & up to 70% More than 70% Discount Applicable on Energy Rates 25% on the energy above 50% LF 25% on the energy above 40% LF

The incentive scheme is applicable for the consumption with the above load factors. The scheme will be effective till 31st March 2010. The procedure for Load Factor calculations will be communicated separately. All other conditions as per the, Annexure Schedule of the Retail Tariff Rates and Terms and Conditions in respect of the four Distribution Companies to Tariff Order for FY 2009-10 will be applicable for the respective categories under LT and HT supply.
