LOCATION
Approximately 588 statute miles southeast of Manila. Traveling by sea, its location from Manila and Cebu is 971 and 593 nautical miles, respectively. Being the capital of the Davao Region, Davao City is the biggest urban market among the Philippines focus areas in the growth polygon called the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area).
