Creatively Adorned, Beaverton, OR 2009-2011 Small professional quilting and embroidery business servicing local quilt shops and individuals. Founder Spearhead business startup and operations. Produced formal business plan, financial forecasts, budgets and marketing plan to present to Oregons Small Business Administration. Grew revenues, business, and client base through strategic development and cultivations of alliances, resulting in a strong network of business associates. VP Equity Research Analyst, 2004-2008 Generated innovative original equity research through complex financial statement analysis, variance analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and cost/benefit analysis. Tasked with handling various Portfolio Manager-level duties for the Large Cap Growth Fund, in addition to influencing portfolio managers recommendations utilizing new concepts and methodologies. Devised innovative quantitative tools for identifying and exploiting areas of improvement, while actively monitoring and analyzing comprehensive portfolio and sector activity. Key participant on the cross-functional team that turned around portfolio performance from 75 th % to 25th % in only three years. Contributed to over 25% of the entire excess return in 2006 and 2007 from stock analysis and recommendations within financial and industrial services sectors. Designed and launched a sector-specific multifactor model for the large core product, outperforming back test environments by over 200 bp, along with one for the finance sector that outperformed by 600 bp.
