Opening and closing the store, preparing paperwork and cash deposits, supervising associates, customer service, handling shipment, meeting sales goals, executing and maintaining floor plans, merchandising, maintaining upkeep of the store, processing returned and exchanged merchandise, register functions, training new employees, and communicating with upper level management and buyers. During a 2 month absence of both a manager and assistant manager, I was responsible for creating schedules, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new associates, maintaining the stores target program for reducing shrink, and overseeing the overall operations of the store.
Skills
Experience with both Microsoft Windows & MAC Snow Leopard OS x operating systems. Familiar with Trovato database. Proficient in using Apple iWork, Microsoft Office, and Adobe suites. Types 94 WPM.
