1) Kalimah Tayyibah (also known as the Word of Purity or the kalima-e-tayyabah) "la ilaha illa Allahu, Muhammad ur-rasul

Ullah" -English meaning: "There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Muhammad [peace be upon him] is the messenger of Allah." 2) Kalimah Shahaadat (also known as the word of testimony or the kalima-e-shahaadat or shahada "A h-hadu an-la ilaha il-lal-lahu, wah-dahu, la sha-reeka lahu, wa a h-hadu an-na Mu ?ammadan ?abduhu wa rasuluhu" -English meaning: "I bear witness that (there is) no god except Allah; One is He, no partner hath He, and I bear witness that Muhammad (Sall-Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam) is His Serva nt and Messenger." 3) Kalimah Tamjeed (Also known as the word of glorification or the kalima-e-tamjeed) "Subhana-llahi, wa-l-hamdu li-llahi, wa la ilaha illa-llahu, wa-llahu akbar. Wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa bi-llahi-l-?aliyyi-l-?azim" -English meaning: "Flawless is Allah and the Praise is of Allah, and (there is) no god except Alla h, and Allah is the Greatest. And (there is) neither might nor power except with Allah, the Sublime, the Tremendous." 4) Kalimah Tawheed (Also known as the word of unity or the kalima-e-tawhid) "La ilaha ill-allahu wa?dahu la Sharika lahu la-hul-mulku wa lahu'l-?amdu yuh-yi wa yumitu wa huwa ?ayyu-lla yamutu abadan abada, ?u-l-jalali wa-l-ikram, biyadi hi-l-khayr, wa huwa ?ala kulli shay?in qadir." -English meaning: "(There is) no god except Allah - One is He, no partners hath He. His is the Dom inion, and His is the Praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Living, who will not die, never. He of Majesty and Munificence. Within His Hand is (all) good. And He is, upon everything, Able (to exert His Will)." 5) Kalimah Astaghfar (Also known as the word of Penitence) "Astagfiru-llaha rabbi min kulli ?anbin a?nabtuhu ?amadan aw kha?a?an sirran aw ?alaniyyatan wa atubu ilayhi mina-??anbi-lla?i a?lamu wa mina-??anbi-lla?i la a? lamu innaka anta ?allamu-l-guyubi wa sattaru-l-?uyubi wa gaffaru-??unubi wa la ? awla wa la quwwata illa bi-llahi-l-?aliyyi-l-?a?im." -English meaning: "I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly, and I turn towards Him from the sin that I kno w and from the sin that I do not know. Certainly You, You (are) the knower of th e hidden things and the Concealer (of) the mistakes and the Forgiver (of) the si

ns. And (there is) no power and no strength except from Allah, the Most High, th e Most Great". 6) Kalimah Radd Kufr (Also known as the words of rejecting disbelief or kalima-e-rud-e-kuffer) "Allahumma inni a?u?u bika min an ushrika bika shay?aw-wwa-ana a?lamu bihi wa-st agfiruka lima la a?lamu bihi tubtu ?anhu wa tabarra'tu mina-l-kufri wa- h- hirki wal-ki?hbi wa-l-gibati wa-l-bid?ati wa-nnamimati wa-l-fawa?i i wa-l-buhtani wa-l-ma? a?i kulliha wa amamtu wa aqulu la ilaha illa-llahu Mu?ammad ur-rasul Ullah." -English meaning: " O Allah! I seek protection in You from that I should not join any partner with You and I have knowledge of it. I seek Your forgiveness from that which I do no t know. I repent from it (ignorance) and I reject disbelief (kufr) and joining p artners with You (shirk) and of falsehood and slandering (gheebat) and innovatio n in religion (bid'at) and tell-tales (nameemat) and bad, evil deeds (fawahish) and the blame and the disobedience, all of them. I submit to Your will and I bel ieve and I declare: There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad( P eace Be Upon On Him) is His Messenger."
