Whats New, What Matters, Whats Next: UCSF Transplant 2010

UCSF transplant surgeons and physicians are acknowledged leaders in the field of solid organ transplantation. Plenary sessions will address topics relevant to transplantation in general, including new immunosuppressive medications, programs to increase access to transplant, waitlist management strategies, islet cell transplantation, and HIV and organ transplant. Clinical tracks for heart, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas will allow practitioners to focus on the current issues and patient management strategies within their area of specialization. TARGET AUDIENCE Designed for a broad cross-section of health care professionals, this conference encompasses heart, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant, and provides information relevant to multiple practice specialties. Physicians, transplant coordinators and administrators, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists, as well as social workers and case managers interested in expanding their knowledge of transplantation, are encouraged to attend.
