Supplication

O Allaah The Almighty! Forgive us, have mercy on us, cure us and pardon us. Dispose of our affairs, be compassionate toward our shortcomings, rectify our faults, guide our hearts and grant us tranquility. Help us realize those of our hopes that please You and make the persistent righteous deeds our final ones.

O Allaah The Almighty! Make Islam and Muslims victorious, and defeat disbelief and the disbelievers! O Allaah, make them disunited, break up their gatherings and bring misfortune upon them!

O Allaah, disgrace them and afflict them with a humiliation that lasts forever. Lord of the worlds, show us signs of Your Omnipotence in them. O Allaah The Almighty! Destroy the [staunch] enemies of the religion, diminish their number, eliminate them one by one and leave not any of them alive.

O Allaah! We seek refuge in You from their evils and ask You to repel them. Protect us from them by whatever means You wish and in whichever manner you want. O Allaah The Almighty! Defeat them and grant us victory over them. Make Your religion prevail, elevate Your banner, spread Your Mercy and enable Your Sharee'ah to dominate, O You, The Most Merciful!

O Allaah The Almighty! Relieve the distress and worry of those who suffer from them, the imprisonment of those who are held captive and the debt of the insolvent.

O Allaah, cure the sick persons among us [here], as well as all sick Muslims, and have mercy upon those who have passed away. Answer our supplications, do not forsake [fulfillment of] our hopes in You and make our final deeds [before death] those that endure [due to their sincerity], O Generous One!

O Allaah The Almighty! Grant us sincerity in both word and deed, in secret and in public; make us among Your genuine slaves and place us among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure.

O Allaah! Bring our hearts together, reconcile us and guide us to the ways of peace and security!

O Allaah, lift Your displeasure and wrath from [befalling] us and do not give authority over us to those people who neither fear You nor have mercy on us! O Allaah, lead us to the right path in all our affairs!

O Allaah The Almighty! Have mercy upon this gathering and grant us protection after our departure from it; and do not let anyone from among us or around us, be wretched or deprived!

O Allaah, forgive us, our parents and the believers on the Day the account is established!

O Allaah The Almighty, accept this [supplication] from us, as You are The Ever-Hearing, The All-Knowing. Acknowledge our repentance, for You are Accepting of penitence and Merciful.

O Allaah! Grant us from among our wives and offspring [a source of] comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.

O Allaah! Pardon us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, verily, You are Kind and Merciful.

Let us recap the meaning of the verse that should not be forgotten: Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {If you do not support the Prophet - Allaah has already supported him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allaah is with us".} [Quran 9:40] This implies that [we must remember that] if the believers decline to defend the religion of Allaah The Almighty, He is Sufficient for making His religion victorious, Responsible for it and Able to exalt it, as is mentioned in the verse where He Says (what means): {It is He Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion. And sufficient is Allaah as Witness.} [Quran 48:28]
