Our marketing strategy is

Providing high quality candles to the customers. Targeting upper-end income as the end customers. Leasing a space for the retail store at the y-block, Defence. Making of some sample catalog for the customers to reach.
Operational system:
The operational system of this small business is very simple. The working hours of the main outlet i.e in y-block are maximum 10-12 hours i.e. the working hour of the workers in the shops and outlet. Whereas in the warehouse where the manufacturing and making of the candles takes place, the working hours is 24 hours sometimes and is dependent on the work and orders from the market and demand of candles. If there are extensive orders from the market then the workers have to work at night also. For example during the wedding and event seasons i.e. mainly in winters and during Christmas and Valentines Day, there is more demand of the new variety of candles and people buy them to bring colours in these events.
Reporting system:
As this is a small business, reporting system is very simple and the senior management itself monitors the work and takes interest in it. The members of the business discuss and make decisions themselves. There is no such need of the reporting system that is because of no extensive document work. Whereas the reporting system is direct to any of the senior management because there is no such strict atmosphere.
Conclusion:
General impression of the business is not very impressive, but somehow the idea n strategies and mainly the product itself are very unique. The best part is that they are selling online and introducing innovative and new ideas to express ones feeling on events like birthdays, Valentines Day and giving a new sense of decoration by candles.

They should expand their business, as they are already doing this. They are improving there quality and making it better. They are planning to open new outlets in Gulberg and Model Town. And are expanding their workforce to make the work perfect.
Future Prospects
As stated above they should expand the business and open more outlets, or they should hire a sales girl in other stores like Pace, Al-Fateh, hallmarks etc to make people aware of this new and impressive product. They should also improve the web facilities of the website so that the people can easily approach and buy the candles online. The senior management should also try to improve the quality and packaging and make it more attractive so that the people should feel more attracted towards this new and innovative product. They should also hire an educated professional who is capable of designing the candles and introduce rather more art material in front of the public. They can also hire sales girl who can make people aware of the new use of candles i.e. they can present candles someone on any occasion like birthdays etc.
