Model-based Systems Engineering The New Engineering Agenda One-day Seminar at Chennai for Practising Engineers Date: 20 August

t 2011
LMS International has recently acquired Emmeskay with offices in US (Detroit) and India (Chennai). Emmeskay is recognized as a world-class, global provider of advanced simulation technology solutions for modelbased systems engineering (MBSE). This acquisition is an important milestone for LMS. It complements LMS world-class solutions for intelligent multiphysics systems simulation with new applications and services for model-driven product development, strengthening LMS position as a world-leading engineering innovator with a unique portfolio of test and simulation software and related engineering services. Today, LMS can offer a complete set of applications to model, simulate and test real-life behaviour of mechanical and mechatronics systems. In an era of increased competition, product complexity, mechatronic hybridization and pressures in the form of regulation, customer expectations and market conditions, world-class product development requires next generation processes and tools. Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and its application to product development are central to such next generation agenda. LMS India is pleased to announce, jointly with SAE India, Southern Section, the following one-day seminar to articulate to the mobility industry practising engineers, the need for MBSE and illustrate through detailed examples, how MBSE can be applied to enhance and accelerate critical phases of products development, so that the resultant designs are of high quality and the development process is more efficient.
