Re: False statement made regarding Dr. Victoria Wulsin

Dear Congresswoman Schmidt:

This firm represents Dr. Victoria Wulsin and the Wulsin for Congress Committee. Earlier
this year you and your campaign committee disseminated a fundraising letter in which you state
that "Wulsin's contempt for the culture of life has even led her to participate in grotesque
medical experiments. Wulsin was paid for her work in medical 'studies' where victims of AIDS
in Africa and China were, without their consent, injected with the malaria virus, all in the name
of 'scientific inquiry.' These statements are utterly false. Dr. Wulsin never participated in any
such experiments, nor was she paid for studies described in your letter. A copy of your letter is
enclosed.

You and your committee are hereby placed on notice that such statements are false and if
they are repeated, my clients will take appropriate action. The intentional publication of false
statements during a campaign for public office is expressly prohibited by Ohio Revised Code §
3517.21 as you are aware from prior cases filed against you before the Ohio Elections
Commission. Repeating these false statements does a disservice to the public that both you and
Dr. Wulsin seek to represent in Congress.

I have fought many political battles during my years of public service. I welcome the rough and
tumble of politics, and this campaign is proving to be no different.

My proud record and accomplishments have been under attack for months...The lies and
distortions put forth by local and national Democrats are unending...

My opponent, Vic Wulsin, is going to the extreme in saying anything to win...And the national
Democrats, along with the rich, ultra-liberal special interest groups are spending unprecedented
millions of dollars here in Ohio to take me down.

That is why I critically need you to rush a special contribution of $25, $35, $50, $100, or even
$500 to help me fight back and win!

More than most Ohioans. vou know that Vic Wulsin is not the person our state or our nation
needs in the U.S. House.

Simply put, she just doesn't share our common values, from the freedoms afforded by a low-tax
smaller government, to respect for human life.

Wulsin's contempt for the culture of life has even led her to participate in grotesque medical
experiments. Wulsin was paid for her work in medical "studies" where victims of AIDS in Africa and
China were, without their consent, injected with the malaria virus, all in the name of "scientific
inquiry."

Quite frankly, this is one of the most despicable examples of utter contempt for our fellow man
that I've ever heard of. And it has made me more determined than ever that Vic Wulsin is not fit to
serve in Congress and that I must do everything in my power to ensure that she never gets the chance.

That's one of the many reasons why I'm counting on you as a long time friend and supporter to
help provide the critical dollars I need to respond to Wulsin's incessant attacks and help me wage the
type of honest campaign the people of this district deserve.

My biggest worry right now is getting overpowered by out-of-state Democrat and radical,
liberal special interest money and organizations during this campaign. It's impossible to know
when - and how hard - I'll be hit next.

Without question, the Liberals are energized and united.

But as Vic Wulsin continues to run a campaign of protest and pessimism, and supports the
bankrupt policies liberals have embraced for decades, she proves over and over again that she has
nothing new to bring to the U.S. House.

And as hard as Vic Wulsin works to disguise her lacking record in national security and defense
issues, we must be ever vigilant, and get the truth out to our voters.

With this election likely to be so tight, we can't take any chances that Vic Wulsin's campaign
will prove successful in fooling the voters. We desperately need to finance the highly expensive media
campaign and get-out-the-vote efforts that will bring us victory.

Remember, this election is extremely important. The urgently-needed contribution you send
