A Simple Key to Accurate Understanding of Biblical Prophecy

One of the Many Simple Keys to Accurate Understanding of Bible Prophecy

First Thing!
Genesis 3:14-15 "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the eld; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel".

All Biblical Prophecy ows from and back to this passage The Mountain Analogy
Prophecy is like a series of Mountains from a distant view they look as if they are one contiguous mountain But at a closer look it becomes evident that there are actually a series of mountains, and ridges and valleys etc... So when the prophecy is from afar off is a single as a mountain or so it appears as a single mountain, it looks like it will all suddenly appear together. But alas the truth or the particulars are revealed as time brings us closer to the prophecys fulllment, thus we see the mountain for what it is, and that is not a mountain but a series of mountains, cliffs, ledges, ridges, valleys etc. etc.

I want you to know that the prophecy will come to pass! If God said it, Hell see to it that it happens! See Isaiah 55:10-11 "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it". Also see Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"" Sometimes the mountains are so far away that we cannot discern the distinction of each section or even how far away or near they are. So it is with prophecy, unless a specic time is stated explicitly.

Example
Isaiah 61:1-2 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim

liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, AND the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;" Looks like one big prophecy to be fullled all at once aye? In Isaiah Chapter 61 there is a conjunction (AND) with a huge gap after it that does not appear to be a gap at all until the day of the LORD Jesus Christ read up till the gap, or the conjunction represented, and stopped and said, "This day is this scripture fullled in your ears." Luke 4:14-21 "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being gloried of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fullled in your ears." Notice he stopped where Isaiah came to the word AND? The "AND the day of vengeance of our God" will be fullled later by Christ. And many like prophecies half (+ or -) were fullled and the remainder Christ will nish when he returns. This is what he revealed in this passage!

Another
Jude 3-7 "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their rst estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange esh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal re."

God has Promised to execute vengeance of eternal re against ungodly men! Even as much as the impending, ultimate Judgment of the Great Day against the

fallen angels seems to slumber, God has promised a reservation, an appointment

See Revelation 6:12-17 "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a g tree casteth her untimely gs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" The Great Day of His Wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand IS COME and yet the question, who SHALL be ABLE to stand?

Because regardless of how far away judgment appears, when it happens, it always seems to have come abruptly without even the least warning! Many will be saying, I wasnt given a chance to change But this very day will belie their words and this very hour will testify against them If they leave this world without getting right with their Maker & Judge! And though they may ee to the dens and in the rocks of the mountains, and cry for the the mountains and rocks to fall on them and hide them from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the lamb! There will be no hiding place Itll be too far to run and too late to hide For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
