Ability to search for bid results
Created a new screen to display the accepted bid results to the general public for a period of 14 days after the property is under contract, that is, after the case has moved to Step 8. Associated with this search capability, the process was developed that populates the bid results on a daily basis. Another process was developed that removes bids from HUD Homestore periodically throughout the day if the associated property is reanalyzed.

Reanalyzed properties: Quick delist from Listing Site


For properties that have been reanalyzed in P260, continually updating the step information for those properties in the listing site database, so that properties no longer in Step 6 in P260 will be delisted from the site. This process only updates Step 6 records and runs throughout the day. Note: No new listings are added as a result of this process.

HUD has developed a Twitter account for HUD Homestore and there is now a link on the upper right side of the screen.

Selling Brokers: Viewing agents registered under their NAID


After logging in and clicking the Bidder Functions link, the Selling Broker can click Review Agents on the menu and display the Review Agent List.

Bidder registration and Bidder profile updates


Bidders can now enter the real estate license information for any number of states (previously they could enter only three state licenses by themselves). License information is now arranged in rows, rather than in columns, and once three rows of license information are entered and saved, more rows are displayed. Brokers and Sales Agents are also able to instantly inactivate their RE license(s) by clicking the red X in the Inactivate column.

New finance type for bids


A new finance type for 203(b) escrow was added. It is enabled only for those cases that are insured sales types and have a repair escrow amount greater than zero.

Bid Submission page: Help added


Updated the bid page to display appropriate instructions to users about the line items and their requirements on the bid form.

Property flyer
Removed Listing Broker information from the flyer and added the HUD Homestore URL to the flyer. Instead of emailing the link to the property flyer, the application emails the link to the Property Details web page with a PDF version of the property flyer attached.

Property address no longer in all capital letters


To improve readability, all appropriate screens will display the property address information in title case, rather than in all capital letters. For example, 123 OLD COAST HIGHWAY will now display as 123 Old Coast Highway.

Bidder/Public registration and profile updates: Confirming Email address


The user will be required to enter their email address twice (and have the information match) before the form can be saved.

Investors and FHA-insured loans


Will now display an alert to the bidder if they select an FHA-insured loan as the financing option when they are an Investor. This check is made twiceonce when the user selects a financing option and once again when they select a Purchaser Type. The user can still move forward, but the following text will display: FHA Insured financing 203(b) is not available for Investors. By selecting this option, the AM may reject this bid.

NAID certification/recertification information


When multiple records are found for the NAID, both certification and recertification information is displayed.

Changes to NAID Registration screen (now called NAID Application screen)


Changed the NAID Registration screen to NAID Application screen so that it reflects the true content of the screen. The text was also updated to reflect a change in HUD regulations. Additional help text added indicating that, on the SAMS-1111A form, the broker must sign and date the form twice.

NAID verification error message repositioned


This message is now at the bottom of the screen so users do not have to search for the error message.

Find a Broker: Phone number


If the company phone is blank, then the alternate phone number will be displayed.

Find a Broker: Search includes & and #


The logic was updated so that the search text can include the ampersand and the pound symbols.

Help text indicating how to find Special Programs ($1 Listings, GNND, etc.)
Updated the Special Programs to include the following instructional text To search for eligible properties, click on a state in the map to the right, or select the appropriate Buyer Type in Search Properties below.

Improved help text for Pending Bid Opening icon


Mouse-over help text now reads: New bids are still being accepted at this time, but there are bids from previous bid periods that need to be reviewed before your bid can be considered.

All MM2 contractor information has been removed.
