GENERAL MANAGER LOGISTIC The incumbent will report to The Supply Chains Director and be responsible for t he overall

strategic and implementation of logistic systems and processes in lin e with the company s direction. The primary responsibilities would be to establish and deliver the short/mid/long term strategic and effective objectives of Logis tics Services following company and Supply Chain strategy mainly on logistic ope ration & distribution, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities include: * Shipment / Distribution Operations: planning and directing of efficient sh ipment and distribution of goods * Warehouse Operations: Planning and managing of maintenance, storage, issua nce and disposal of finished good inventories * Fleet Management: Planning and managing of truckers and forwarders contrac ted * Imports/ Exports: Facilitating the expeditious entry and delivery to KFI w arehouses of all imported Finished Goods * Cost Management and Control: Developing of overhead budgets to define the cost boundaries within which warehouse should operate for cost-efficient operati on. * Manage the flow of product from the source of production to the marketplac e * Planning, directing, and coordinating supply operations which includes fun ctions such as inventory management, acquisition, warehouse management, traffic management, and disposal of assets * Identify and communicate deficiencies, conduct inventories, and prepare re ports of survey, when required

Key Requirements: * Bachelor s Degree in Logistic or Business with a focus on supply chain, logi stic or related field is desired. Masters degree is preferred. * Having 10+ years of Logistic or Supply Chain experience with roles of incr easing scope & responsibility, food industry background is highly preferred. * Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of a team of Logi stic professionals. * Ability to develop and contribute to the strategic vision for a Global Log istic organization. * Demonstrated success managing complex projects as well as ability to effec tively delegate to team. * Appropriate skill-set to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneous ly & to develop priorities for self and members of staff. * Ability to inspire, motivate, develop and retain subordinates will be crit ical. * Demonstrates superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills to multiple levels to both the organization and suppliers. * Must be computer literate and be ble to use MS office applications especia lly Word, Excel and proficient in logistic software preferably SAP.
