YOU MUST OFFICIALLY WITHDRAW IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO ATTEND. SEE THE FEE SCHEDULE IN THE CANCELLATION POLICY SECTION AND WITHDRAWAL POLICY SECTION FOR DEADLINES. 1. If you drop/withdraw from class(es) before January 18, 2012, you will receive a 100% refund. No Cancellation Fee 2. If you drop class(es) during the first week of class (January 18 ~ 24) you are charged a cancellation fee equivalent to 5% of the tuition plus 100% of all fees. 3. If you withdraw from class(es) after January 24, 2012 to May 11, 2012, you are charged a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the tuition and fees. 4. Students who are waiting for financial aid or have not yet paid for their tuition and fees are still obligated by the above regulations 1 and 2. 5. If you do not officially drop or withdraw from class(es) within the time periods above and still owe tuition and fees, you are liable for payment and will be billed accordingly including applicable interest, and you may receive an Unofficial Withdrawal (UW) grade which negatively affects your GPA. Therefore, it is crucial that you officially drop or withdraw from class(es) in a timely manner.

AFTER REGISTRATION
SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT. YOU MAY ADD OR DROP CLASSES DURING EARLY, OPEN, AND LATE REGISTRATION, AND DURING THE SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT PERIOD. A schedule adjustment may be made at any Satellite Location or at the Admissions & Records Office. AUDITING CLASSES. Student may apply to audit classes without credit. Please refer to the catalog for application procedures, deadlines, and fees. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO REVIEW HIS/HER CLASS SCHEDULE FOR ACCURACY. COURSES NOT ATTENDED AND NOT DROPPED WILL RECEIVE THE GRADE OF "UW" (Unofficial Withdrawal) AND THE STUDENT WILL BE FINANCIALLY OBLIGATED FOR THE PAYMENT OF COURSE(S) AND OTHER FEES. Payment of Courses. Students must adhere to payment deadlines. Payments are accepted at the Cashiers Office located in the Administration Building and at Admissions & Records. If payment is made by mail, it must reach the University by the payment deadline. Checks should be made payable to the University of Guam and mailed to: Business Office, Attention: Cashier, University of Guam, UOG Station, Mangilao, Guam 96923. Questions regarding payment should be directed to the Bursar/Collection Office at (671)735-2940/43/45/46. Obtaining Grades. Grade reports and class schedules may be viewed on WebAdvisor (http://setbisiu.uog.edu/), or requested at the Admissions & Records Office with a photo ID.
ORIENTATION/REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS After applying for admission (see schedule of Application Deadlines) all new students must attend academic advising and orientation at the Student Center according to their scheduled date. Registration takes place at the Admissions & Records Office (1st floor Field House). OPEN REGISTRATION Continuing and returning students may register for classes at the Admissions & Records Office (1st floor Field House), or any Satellite Location, or WebAdvisor (http://setbisiu.uog.edu/). SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT & LATE REGISTRATION make schedule adjustments at any Satellite Location or at the Admissions & Records Office. Please Note: Any student with a medical and/or physical disability may receive special assistance for registration. Please call Admissions & Records Office, (671)735-2207 at least seven (7) days before registration. ADMISSIONS & RECORDS. Records and Registration Technicians are available to assist students during registration periods Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 1st floor, Field House. WebAdvisor. Continuing students may register for classes via WebAdvisor. See http://setbisiu.uog.edu/ for instructions. Hours of operation are Mondays ~ Thursdays, 8:30am-7pm and Fridays, 8:30am-5pm.
Prerequisite in Progress. If you plan to pre-register for a course that requires prerequisites(s) AND you are currently taking the prerequisites(s) on the current semester, you no longer need to request for an override. You will be allowed to pre-register for the course without an override, HOWEVER, if you do not pass the prerequisite course(s) with the required grade, your pre-registered course will be deleted (de-registered) from the class roster and you will be notified by email at your student @etriton.edu.gu account. Deregistration will occur no later than three weeks after the grades for the prerequisite courses have been submitted. You can view your grades online with your WebAdvisor account. @etriton.edu.gu. Students who are waiting for financial aid or have not yet paid for their tuition and fees are still financially obligated. The University of Guam accepts VISA, MASTER CARD & AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards for payment of tuition/fees. Note: Students, please be aware that tuition and fee rates are current as of Sept. 30, but may change based on actions of the Board of Regents as made necessary by the financial conditions of the Government of Guam. Undergraduate students taking 5 credits or less will be charged 50% or half of the student fee found in the current catalog for the regular fall and spring semesters. Undergraduate student taking 5 credits or less during the summer term inclusive of sessions, A, B, and C, would be assessed a flat fee of $99.25. TUITION PAYMENTS Payments are accepted at the Cashier's Office, located in the Administration Building, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call 735-2923. WITHDRAWAL POLICY
DEADLINE TO WITHDRAW WITHOUT TRANSCRIPT RECORD ENTRY FOR Spring 2012 is January 24. All students may withdraw from a course or courses during registration or add/drop period except for TRANSITION STUDENTS who must file a withdrawal form at the Records Office. (See cancellation fee schedule). VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL Students who officially withdraw after the deadline to withdraw without transcript record entry will receive a grade of "W" (Withdrawal) for all classes from which they withdrew. Students must withdraw at the Records Office; a technician will assist in making the withdrawal. The deadline for VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL for Spring 2012 is March 14, 2012. (See cancellation fee schedule). WITHDRAWAL BY PETITION Students who miss the voluntary withdrawal deadline and desire to withdraw a class(es) may petition for permission to withdrawal by completing the Petition for Withdrawal Form which is available at the Admissions & Records Office. Students may petition for withdrawal up until the last day of classes (before finals week) which, for the Spring 2011 term, is May. 11, 2012, (See cancellation fee schedule).
PAYMENT DEADLINE January 26, 2012 Final Payment Deadline for Spring Registration: Final payment for Spring 2012 Registration must be received by 4:00 p.m., January 26, 2012 otherwise, your registration will be canceled. All students are encouraged to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office or on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Non-Resident Student - Students who have not met the Residency Requirements. (See Residency Requirements) UNDERGRADUATE - First-time students must complete an Application for Admission and must submit required documents by the deadline indicated in the Schedule of Application Deadline section. Official transcripts must be sent directly to the Admissions Office from the issuing institution(s). REGISTRATION
The University of Guam FALL 2011 Intersession courses will be offered this year between December 17, 2011 and January 14, 2012. Registration is on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. REGISTRATION PERIOD The respective colleges will be conducting intersession registration starting Monday, December 05, 2011 through Friday, December 16, 2011 beginning at 8:30am and concluding at 5:00pm. Schedule Adjustments can be made on December 19, 2011 and will conclude at 5:00pm. You must pay as you register and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis therefore, you must refer to the business office to make payment on the same day as you are processed by the colleges. Registration is confirmed when payment is made in full. Students who dont make payment by the 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 will be administratively withdrawn from all courses and will be required to pay a $50 administrative fee. The University accepts cash, checks (payable to UOG), and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, & American Express). WITHDRAWAL BY PETITION Students who miss the voluntary withdrawal deadline and desire to withdraw a class(es) may petition for permission to withdrawal by completing the Petition for Withdrawal Form which is available at the Admissions & Records Office. Students may petition for withdrawal up until the last day of classes which, for the Fall Intersession 2011 term, is January 17, 2012. (See cancellation fee schedule).
Outstanding obligation(s) must be cleared before registering at the UOG Collections Office. Financial Aid recipients should ensure that their names are on official lists submitted to the satellite registration and the Business Office. REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY A 100% refund will be warranted when a course is officially canceled or if the student drops the course PRIOR TO the first class meeting day. A 95% refund will be allowed if the student withdraws from the course BEFORE the second class meeting day. Course and Lab Fees are non-refundable. The University of Guam reserves the right to cancel or change the classes listed in this course schedule as circumstances necessitate.
