New Information Resource Added to Chamber Website The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce a new information resource location on our website (www.angolachamber.org). The Latest News section at the bottom right of our home page is dedicated to providing news and information on issues from the state legislature and local government. We will continuously update this section of the website as news becomes available to us. This section of our website is not intended to be used for advocacy for or against the issues found inside. The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce does however take seriously, the responsibility of providing accurate information to its members so you can make educated decisions regarding issues affecting your state,

Second Annual Corporate Toboggan Speed Challenge Pokagon State Park again hosted the Angola Area Chamber of Commerce Corporate toboggan Speed Challenge on Thursday, December 1st. 36 foursomes braved the quarter mile track that drops 100 feet in elevation starting from the 35 foot high launch tower. This years winning team was Streibig Construction Team #1, captained by Randy Streibig with a speed of 41 mph. Recognition for the most entertaining team went to the Trine University Sports team and best costume went to the Cameron Hospital Radiology team. Great weather coupled with great support from all who participated made for a really good time. Special thanks go to Pokagon State Park and Potawatomi Inn for all of their work in hosting this fun chamber event!

WLKI FM 100.3 was selected as the Chamber Member of the Month for Going above and beyond in their coverage of the 18th Annual AACOC Golf Outing and Party on the Patio following golf. The Steuben County Tourism Bureau was selected as the Chamber Member of the Month for September for their exceptional support of Fall Fest in downtown Angola.

Receive Chamber Discounts on the Fly!

The Angola Area Chamber of Commerce has created a QR code to access our member to member discount page. Now you can use a smart phone equipped with a free app qr code reader to access all of the discount providers and the discounts they provide in our Member to Member discount program. This QR code will be located on the back side of the AACOC 2012 membership card we provide to each of the employees of all AACOC members. Now when chamber members are in the market for any good or service in the Angola area they can scan the QR code on the back of their membership card and find local merchants from several different business categories who provide valuable discounts to fellow chamber members and their employees. If you are a participant in the chambers Member to Member discount program this addition should make your business even more visible.
